FPL #6 Keeper/Strike For Sliding Glass Door Mortise Locks in Oil Rubbed Bronze Finish

Our home builder used real cheap strike plates so I bought these to replace them on our 3 sliding doors. Screws are a good length and the plate itself is solid. Real easy install. Took about 5 min to install all three of them. All the holes in the photo are from the contractor who installed the initial cheap one, what a moron

Worked great for our door. We removed the Striker to put in a Doggie Door. 6 years later when we go to sell the house we can't find the striker. After searching every possible hardware store and being shocked to learn they no longer make them for our sliding door (the house is only 11 years old) we started searching online. This was THE only product we could find that looked like it MIGHT work. Thankfully it did!!

Would have been nicer is the piece was a little wider to allow more clearance for the catch.

Didn't fit in area where needed. Not worth effort to return. Might be able to modify to make it work.

Packed well and received quickly. Replacement part worked well and fits missing plate.

Lasted four months. Broke as my six year old was trying to open the door. That means this is useless for its intended purpose. Don’t waste your money.

This is a simple piece of hardware. I looked at Home Depot and Lowe's as I expected either should have something like this surprisingly neither did. I had this installed in a matter of minutes and ready to go.
