3M Ultra Headlight Restoration Kit -39195

I saw this demonstrated on YouTube - and was a bit dubious it was going to work as well as it appeared to in the video. The headlights it was applied to were on a 2006 Golf - which had failed its MoT (for several reasons including because of the clarity / light output from the headlights). The application process was straightforward. Everything you need is in the kit, with the exception of an electric drill - and the results were AMAZING; headlights looked like they'd been replaced, not just "polished up a bit".

I couldn't believe how effective this product was , got rid of the yellow cloudy marks off the lights, and easy to do. Would definitely recommend and purchase again if needed to

Very good headlight kit. Tried for the first time after watching a YouTube clip. Took me about an hour in total including drying time for the restorer. The pictures do not do it justice for how yellow it was before, now the car looks much better.

Good but could be better.Easy to use and finish relatively good as well.The only downside is the amount of sanding discs supplied with it. Buy more in preparation. Happy overall but this product could be better

This is a brilliant piece of kit, I’m so impressed. Plan to set aside a couple of hours and a drill with a full battery but it’s so worth it. My car was due to fail its MOT in a couple of weeks due to headlight condition but not anymore (see pics!). I’m going for a drive when it’s dark to feel the benefit! So, tried and tested and a full five stars for effectiveness.Tip: wipe away residue as it builds up both on your light and the pad. I wouldn’t have needed any more pads than supplied and you can see the condition I started with.

Good product follow instructions easy to use and so far done a decent job

This is a great product. If you follow the instructions, especially more sanding with the 500 and 800 grit pads, you will get results. My headlights were actually worse than pictured in the before photo as i tried toothpaste and baking powder first. These methods took a bit of the grime and damage off but essentially didnt work. The kit isnt cheap but works! Now i just need to buy more of the wipes and apply every 12 months to maiintain the protective coat! 10/10

Follow the instructions and this product works well despite the initial appearance of a scarred headlamp. The final polish and wipe with the pad was really really impressive. My Honda headlamps looks brand new, shines well and passed the MOT with out comment. I used a cordless drill because of its small size and lighter weight. Expect the dust to be blown over the bonnet

Restaurei os faróis do carro que estavam amarelados seguindo o uso do Kit que vem com as lixas necessária para chegar até o polimento que restaura. Produto que passa ao finalizar dá o acabamento perfeito.

Took me a long time but the end result is amazing

Me dejo impresionado, solo tienes que tener paciencia, utiliza una almohadilla por faro de cada grado (la tercera es para ambos faros) y tomate tu tiempo, vale la pena mis faros quedaron como nuevos (15 años de uso) nunca les había dado un tratamiento, me ahorre 7000 pesos para no comprar unos faros nuevos, tengo una JF crusier 2010, simplemente lo recomiendo

Excellent product.Instructions state to wet sand only on the final sanding grit. I used a spray bottle to continuously wet the the headlight while sanding on all grits to evacuate the sanded material from the sanding paper. This produced excellent results. When applying the coating with the wipes, follow instructions carefully, slow side to side motions, slowing down if bubbles/foam forms. Don't take to long to apply or reapply before initial coat has set, the coating will form lines if the product starts to dry and gets tacky.
