Light is all metal. Decent quality but I bought the version that is switched controlled. So I can turn on/ off as desired but everytime I turn on the light it illumantes one color temp then turns of and then back on at the desired color temp that was set using the app. Manufacturer told me I needed there expensive proprietary switch to not have the light do this. So if you choose to purchase the "switch controlled" version of there light, make sure u budget for the light switch aswell

We had purchased a different FTS Smart Bluetooth LED floodlight with a motion sensor integrated. Besides being able to remotely turn on & off from our iPhones, it also turned on when sensing motion over a very wide angle. This (non-motion-sensor) model can be grouped with it via the Halo Home iPhone app so that it also turns on when the primary one does. So we cover a wide area of our back yard garden with them. And it has the same brightness & color temp adjustability via the app. Highly recommend!

Installing the light was straightforward. From there everything went downhill. I spent two day trying to get the lights working with the bridge and with Alexa. Never did get them working correctly. I uninstalled them and replaced them with Ring lights. In about two hours I had the new light installed and working. I don't like to leave negative reviews but I cannot recommend theses lights.

I like my new FTS bronze floodlight with bluetooth because I can adjust the brightness of the floodlightsTwo, I can make it brighter to see what's going on outside and then lower the brightness once I find out it is just a deer outside.
