Perfect gift
I ordered two mermaids and they sent the colors I needed (pink & purple) without the option to choose. They're cute and perfect for bath time.

Good sized tub doll with fun hair for styling
My daughters like these tub dolls a lot. I'm less impressed though. I do like how inexpensive they were. I think for under $10 a doll, it's a pretty good deal. I also like that the hair is long and versatile. The second these came out of the package, my daughters had the braids out and were styling the hair on the dolls. The hair is well attached and can stand the abuse from my 3 and 4 year olds pretty well.On the other hand, I think the toys are a tad boring. There aren't any accessories for the dolls, nor are you able to clothe them. My girls will be interested for a while, but if I don't put them out of sight for a week or so in between uses, they won't want to play with them at all. I also don't like how water gets inside the hollow body and head of the doll. If you don't squeeze and shake pretty well after each use, the dolls will be filled with mold in no time.So I guess I can see why these toys were discontinued, but I still think it's not a bad little toy. For the low price, I thought they were going to be super small, but they are the size of a child's infant baby doll...so I'm not going to complain :-)

Its a cute toy
We got the pink one (thank the lord) its exactly the doll her friend at the daycare has and i was praying lol it came in wonderful condition. She loves it. If she hadn't been obsessed, I wouldn't have paid that amount for it.

Holds up well but lack of color choice leads to upset children when they finally need replacing.
My daughter has had this doll for 4 years. It did finally have to be tossed due to mold. But for a doll that lives in tubs and kiddie pools 4 years is pretty good. It was only on her hair line and when I popped the head off I was shocked how clean the inside still was. Some mold but again for a 4 year old tub doll hardly any. I have to throw most bath toys away every year. It’s not the most advanced doll but she loves it. My lower rating is for the fact you can’t choose a color. I told my 5yo her beloved Mermaid was being fixed. She’s going to notice that it turned pink, which is the color of her sisters mermaid. I’m sorry but how hard is it to label the colors and allow you to choose?

and my 4 year old daughter has really enjoyed playing with it in the bath tub
We received the purple doll, and my 4 year old daughter has really enjoyed playing with it in the bath tub. The tail is a strange flesh color at the tip, but its nothing that takes away from the toy at all. It just seemed like an odd color choice to me when the rest of the mermaid tail is colored. We've only had this toy for about a week now, but the hair seems to be holding up really well to daily intense washing (my daughter LOVES to wash the mermaid's hair), and it looks like it will be the favorite bath toy for my daughter for a long time to come. The arms and head move too, so its a fun toy to play with in the bath. Definitely something I would recommend.

Threw them all away mid-bathtime
I bought these bath crayons specifically because of their brand name: Toysmith. (A couple of months back while waiting in line at the hardware store, I snagged this brand of random bath crayons.)We LOVED them.However. I have never cussed so much during bathtime because of these, terrible, poorly made, bathtime crayons. The sticks of crayon were falling out of their bases and- no matter the pushing, smushing, twisting you tried to do— you were stuck with this….absolutely embarrassing product that could not perform straight out the gate.Well, tried coloring with the bare crayon stick….clumpy. Like, it was too soft of wax. SO FUN to scrub off shower walls and textured tub floors.I’m still eligible for a return, however, I quite frankly, did a Michael Jordan dunk on them straight into the trash can before my husband could que up R. Kelly.Folks. Don’t do it. I gave these ppl my money abd the benefit of the doubt, and lost.
