Maxpower333695 Residential Grade Round Nylon 0.095 Inch Trimmer Line, 855 Foot Length, Orange

I use a great deal of trimmer line to protect my defensible space. I started buying the large rolls to save money several years ago. This Maxpower trimmer line is the best value I have found so far. I bought a larger roll for more money, but less $ per foot of line, and was unhappy with it and returned it. This is long lasting line, and stays good on the roll for over a year. After a year on the shelf, it will release a little bit of white powder from drying, but it still cuts well, and performs just fine. I will stick with this brand from here on out.

I've ordered this trimmer line twice now and it's great. The line cuts a reasonable amount of time without constantly needing to bump and release more line. Does exactly what you expect trimmer line to do.

I've been doing yard maintenance professionally since I was a teenager (about 20 years). So, I'd like to think that MAYBE my opinion means something when it comes to reviewing this product.WHY I BOUGHT IT:I was buying a line for many years from mowmore.com called Rhino-Tuff. I loved it and never wanted to take a chance on anything else. I bought this line because the total cost was about what mowmore.com wanted just for the shipping (which brought their total to about $55 for the same amount of trimmer line). I love mowmore.com, but ever since buying a different mower, I no longer place the large bulk orders ($250+) needed to get them to throw in free shipping. So I wanted to see if there was a quality line to test out with reasonable or free shipping. I took a chance, albeit not a big one, and spent $23.62 with tax and free Prime 2-day shipping). I was NOT disappointed!HOW IT WORKED:While I've only used it on three jobs so far, I'd say for the money it has to be rated a 5-star product. This line met or exceeded all my expectations! The string is tough, but not so heavy that it reduces RPMs. This string held up very well, even on chain link fences and concrete. I never had to re-string after three jobs, and may even last a full day on five or six jobs (using only 10-12 feet of string).This string is the classic round shape, which remains my favorite type of string, because it seems to feed better and be more aerodynamic than the other styles, therefore increasing RPMs and cutting power. (The square, star, twisted, and other shapes have never impressed me. They are tough, but seem to cause other issues such as lower RPMs and jamming issues in some trimmer heads.)My Rhino-Tuff string was green, which meant it blended in with the grass when the trimmer spit out last few inches of unused string. This color won't blend in well, but I like the fact that the orange string is easier to see, which especially helps when you edge (using the sting vertically). That's not why I bought it, but it is a small plus for me as my eyes get older!Again, for the price, great quality, and generous quantity (885 feet of line!) I'd say you can't go wrong risking your money on this trimmer line. It is likely better than anything you'll find in your local stores and at a fraction of the price, considering the quantity of line you get here.NOTE:I use the .095 line and feel it's the perfect fit for my ECHO SRM-225 trimmer. If you have a really light-duty trimmer, maybe the smaller line would be better for you. Is is being used on my echo srm 225 weedeater. I have used it for the last 4years. It is the best I have had.

Awesome value for a great string! Used in the Stihl pro series perfectly but a bit too thick for your average smaller models.

I have a large property that needs lots of weed weed eating. Great value for the spool and strength of wire.

Arrived on time, Great length & diameter of product for money. We have estimated it lasting us a whole season if trimming on a 1.5km road & 50 acres once trimming starts next spring. Will update next year.
