Not really a robust flavor. I would consider it a medium roast.

I wasn’t expecting to like it as it was one of those impulse buys I was hoping wouldn’t disappoint. I add 1/3 ground coffee to this and enjoy!

Not a ton of caffiene so I mix this with coffee to get the BEST TASTING COFFEE! Do it, you wont be sad.

I don't brew this straight, it seemed to me way too much was needed for a solid flavor.I'm a coffee fiend, but am trying to cut down on the caffeine as the day progresses and it dawned on me, grind up some decaf and brew it with a small amount of the Choffy.It was a game changer, I brew a pour over, and you get a solid cuppa chocolatey joe with enough caffeine to keep you even and no worries about staring at the ceiling at 3 AM.

I've had brewed cacao, and this product is a weak facsimile. This appears to be just a packet of cacao nibs, but compared to an off the shelf packet of nibs, this is stale and/or from an inferior source.The best cup I could make required:- Regrinding the product. Its a very chunky grind, much larger than any coffee grind, and without regrinding it, you would have to heavily cook it to bring out the oils, which breaks down the aromatics.- Use twice as much product as you would coffee grind.- Use high heat to process. Either pan cook it a la Cuban coffee, or use scalding hot water in a French press and let it set longer that for coffee.This was the only process that resulted in a cup that comes close to the photos they provide as examples. But even that cup was still weak with a faded or stale flavor.I used the rest of the bag as simple coco nibs - grinded it down, and added sugar and vanilla and used it as flavoring. An expensive way to get to average coco powder.

I enjoyed this really it’s like having hot chocolate with out all the sugar I love it with or without milk

Absolutely delightful flavor. The beans do not brew strong like coffee, so if you prefer a stronger brew be prepared to add more scoops, and that will be a little more costly. No more than frequenting a local coffee shop. I originally purchased this as an alternative to coffee in the evenings, or at least cut back my coffee consumption. I blend it with equal parts of my favorite ground chickory. Two rounded table spoons each of Choffy and chickory, for a total of 4 TBS in 2 cups boiled water in my french press. The chickory brews darker, but compliments the choffy well. I fill my mug half way with heated milk and add my brew. Add a little sugar if you like, but you may not even miss it. I thoroughly enjoy the Choffy brand of ground cacao, and have been ordering it for months now. I can't imagine it not being a part of my daily ritual.

I ordered this because the other brand I had been getting is constantly out of stock. This one is really great. Good flavour! Not super strong though.

I just think it should say in the description that this one is best for those who don’t hate coffee!
