worked out very well
This arrived already assembled and it is fairly large and sturdy. It is not made from a "wooden crate" as another reviewer snarkily stated, it is made of sturdier wood than that. My kids have a lot of shoes, so it works well as a shoe rack near my front door without looking super cheap, and could be used for other things as well (lamps, books, etc) so I am happy with it.

Best shoe rack!
I adore this shoe rack!! It is so beautiful and country chic. Very sturdy and well made. Fits many pairs of shoes. I would recommend this to anyone! It also did not require any assembly. Yay!

flows well with my home
Arrived in a large box. no assembly required. I LOVE THIS! Made with recycled wood (i think). The wood is NOT sanded down or smooth. That’s ok! I will be adding some baskets at the bottom to hold gloves and hats.
