New iPad 9.7 inch Origami Case (2017 Model) - GOOOA Origami Smart Case with Hard Back Cover (with Auto Wake/Sleep),fit Apple New iPad 9.7-inch,Red

From only two day experience with the case, I am liking it so far.It can hold four positions: origami folds allow portrait and landscape positions & the case is like the usually triangle writing view we see on the case sold by apple. The case will use the inside of the flap, so expect it to get dirty. You can make the triangle position with the outside of the flap on the outside, but it is not as sturdy in landscape mode; however, it still works well. Also, the vertical positioning does work, but the tablet will be sagging to the left a bit. Not a big deal, but just something to point out.The case is thin and very light. Some customers might not like how thin the cover is, but for me I like it. It has a nice dark blue color to it, which is a bit lighter, just a tad, than the one shown on the Amazon pictures. There is a texture that you can feel that is like denim, but you know it is made out of some platic rubber material when holding and looking at the case in person.Good thing is that there are magnets that hold the positions together and if you have the iPad 9.7" 2018 model, then I can assure that the flap uses magnets to hold it in place when the flap is closed. Whole there are magnets, I noticed that if you turn the iPad upside down the magnets aren't really strong because covering is flimsy from the oeigiami folds.The clear backing looks really good and the holes match to every port, mic and camera pretty well. The tolerancing in the factory must have been tight because everything is centered. I have had no instances of the hard plastic breaking off or scratching my iPad, bit then again I feel like if I take the case off I might break the plastic.Sad part is that there is no elastic band to hold and apple pencil.Overall very nice case that is worth checking out, especially if you want a portrait position that holds in place.

Another Update:GOOOA quickly emailed me and offered to replace my case. Apparently, they have a lifetime warranty and wanted me to know that they take it very seriously and will look into this problem (the cracking plastic). Very good customer service!Update:I bought this case a month ago. I really like it, but it has developed two cracks in the plastic on one of the corners. My iPad is brand new, so I've barely used it, and I definitely haven't dropped it, so these cracks are surprising. I changed my review to two stars. My original review is below.A nice case. It fits well, everything lines up. It seems well made and sturdy. The feel of the front cover is different than I thought it would be, almost a bit waxy, but it's nice quality and the inside of the cover is soft. It has a nice baby blue detail between the two cover fabrics that I like. The magnet is strong and wake/sleep works well. Using it as a stand is easy and all configurations are stable.

I absolutely hate returning and having to reorder things. Now im frustrated because there is INCONSISTENT information on this post's pictures.One of the pics says to check the model number, mine was Not one of the two they have (see pic attached). But then on that same picture and a second picture, they have the ipad shown of my model *Camera with flash* AND speakers up top & bottom. I figured, if they have pics of my model, maybe they have a typo in the model number or they forgot about mine since its the same as the product pictures.Product came in today, and it is not the same model as they show in TWO of their pictures, in the other pictures youre shown the front.Please fix this to save other peoples' time and money.

It allows you to fold down and slide into the seat pockets (united, alaska seats) on the plane to have the ipad sit like a built in screen.

iPad has fallen from the arm of the chair a few times! My mistake, but was fully protected!

It's hard to find a case that allows you to view the screen vertically. Love it for that!
