I was disappointed to realize Talc is the main ingredient in this dry shampoo. The product description/title reads "natural ingredients remove excess sebum" and the product pictures with captions mention "Natural Ingredients/ Finely ground rice and orange peel." There's no where on the product page I can find a comprehensive list of ingredients that is on the bottle, so you wouldn't know until you received this that it contains TALC as the second ingredient.Anyway. IF you don't mind TALC, this works OK. It is messy, as other reviewers have mentioned (and you will have TALC dust all over your bathroom, which you will inhale gradually until all of it is gone). I have very long, thin, fine, slippery hair, and this worked well to give my hair gentle volume and decrease the oily appearance between washings. My hair is a medium brown, and this product was undetectable once I had rubbed/brushed it into my hair.The scent isn't natural. It contains perfume/fragrance. If you are sensitive to perfume, you may want to avoid. I smelled this ALLL day, every time my hair moved. Smells like raspberry candy. Definitely not a bad smell, but also not natural at all.This is a small container, so not much product. I live in Florida, where humidity is an issue, so I was concerned about the cardboard canister that doesn't seal, since you are supposed to keep it dry. The lid is a little stiff and difficult to slide back on. For the current price of $6.99 for 1.41 ounces, I feel this either needs to have better ingredients or be a MUCH larger quantity.

So, I've tried dry shampoo before with mixed results. Up until now I've only used aerosols; some were good, others not so much. In general, I'm not a fan of aerosol anything, and I try to avoid it more and more. For me, I often have breathing discomfort with aerosols, so I was very happy to try a dry shampoo that isn't an aerosol. It's a big bonus to me that the packaging is cardboard, and therefore, recyclable.The product itself is a brownish color; it reminded me of hot chocolate powder. It didn't stand out against my hair as much as some other dry shampoos, which are usually white, and it blended in nicely when I gently rubbed it into my hair and then brushed it out. The product did do what it was supposed to do, and my hair was clean and dry looking after using. I personally didn't notice any scent when using this dry shampoo, which is great for me because some scents bother me and I'd rather put on my own scent than be stuck with something that makes me feel sick. With most aerosols, application is pretty simple; just spray and brush. With this, I just sprinkled a little into my hand and then put on my hair where needed, I rubbed it in a little, then I brushed it through my hair. It worked perfectly for me and was simple to do. I didn't feel like it took much more time than spraying my hair. I saw where others mentioned sprinkling it directly onto their hair; I didn't do this and I'm wondering if that was part of the messiness problem. I didn't have a problem with it making a mess, but I can see the potential. I don't like that talc is such a big ingredient in this dry shampoo considering all the health problems now being associated with talc, but it is a very common ingredient in most dry shampoos that I have seen, so I can't fault it too much when comparing it. Also, I find that I'm breathing in much more junk while spraying an aerosol above my head than I did when using this. Besides the talc, there was one other thing I didn't like. I think that with this packaging, there is a huge potential for leaking. It's a cardboard tube filled with powder. The top has a small hole in it to let the powder through, which is covered with a sticker to seal it. Then, it has a cardboard lid that slides down over the top. I just feel like the lid could slide off easily, and the sticker over the hole will likely loose its stickiness as it gets exposed to the powder as it's being used. It could be a big mess, especially if you're traveling with it. I thought I might use a different sticker or some tape when the current sticker starts to come off and replace as needed. If I travel with it, I could also probably tape the lid on and/or store in its own little bag to protect anything else that I'm traveling with. All in all, not a huge deal, I just thought the package design could be a bit better.As far as value, a little went a long way for me, so it could be a good value. I haven't finished the container, so I'm not yet sure how it stacks up compared to others yet.

Obviously, I'm not mad at the Foamie Dry Shampoo for Brunette and Dark Hair because I gave it four stars. The reviews you see here are mixed. Here's my take.My hair: Thin texture, lots of it. Scalp gets oily quickly.Climate: Humid in summer, dry in winterExperience with powdered hair products: Experienced. I use a powder volumizer daily. If you've used that product, you'll easily be able to use this one.Use of dry shampoo- multiple times a week. I can't wash my type of hair texture every day or it will turn to straw, even with deep conditioning.I've used the spectrum of dry shampoos from the 1.99 ones to the 45.00 bottles. I've gotten the best results from the expensive ones, but can't keep up with the price tag.The Foamie Dry Shampoo for Brunette and Dark Hair's packaging is the future of packaging if we don't want our environment to completely collapse. There will be issues as everyone adapts and learns how to make packaging work. The lid is a little loose for on-the-go convenience. This wouldn't be an on-the-go product. I give the packaging high marks because, again, it's way better for the planet.Scent- I smell nothing and I have a sensitive schnozz. I cannot handle my hair smelling like anything other than my hair perfume. I am glad it is odorless.Application- it's a powder. You can sprinkle in your hand and rub it into your scalp, or you can hold it up close to your scalp and shake it onto your head and then rub it like you would a liquid shampoo. Brush through to the ends. If you have super long hair, you will have to place in your hand and smooth it down your hair. It left my hand feeling soft, not sticky, and washed off easily.Color results- the brown blended into my hair color, which is nice. I hate having to aggressively brush to get white dry shampoos to blend.Performance: It works great. It soaks up the oils like it's supposed to do.I did not notice powder flying around the room when I used the product. Apply gently and carefully and you can control the powder. I did not choke on the powder. I definitely inhale way more and can choke when using sprays.I think this is worth a try if you go in knowing it's not 100 percent perfect with packaging, the application will be like a powdered volumizer, and it really does soak up oils without leaving your dark hair white.

Habe nach einer veganen und natürlicheren Option zu den herkömmlichen Trockenshampoos gesucht.Neben diesem, habe ich auch das von puremetics für dunkle Haarr ausprobiert, zum Vergleichen.Dieses Trockenshampoo "erfrischt" die Haare und dieser Effekt hält auch sehr lange an. Habe mittlerweile mehrfach festgestellt, dass die Haare auch noch am darauffolgenden Tag noch "fresh" ausgesehen haben und musste sie nur noch rinmal kurz aufschütteln.Der Duft ist sehr dezent und später kaum noch wahrzunehmen. Aber er stört überhaupt nicht.Die Verpackung ist insgesamt stabil und fällt (im Vergleich zum Trockenshampoo puremetics) nicht auseinander. Jedoch hat die Foamie Verpackung nur ein Loch, was manchmal etwas mehr Schütteln nötig macht. Habe mir daher das Trockenshampoo zusätzlich in einen ausgedienten Salzstreuer abgefüllt und damit lässt sich das super easy "aufpudern" und verteilen. Aber auch aus der Original Verpackung lässt sich das Puder auftragen, man muss nur etwas mehr schütteln.Wenn man zu viel nimmt, bleibt eine mini mini leichte helle Schicht auf sehr dunklen Haaren (meine sind sehr sehr dunkel). Denke aber auf mittel braunen sieht man gar nichts. Ich behelfe mir dann mit einem kleinen Handtuch und gehe damit ganz kurz über die Haare und damit sind die Reste auch verschwunden. Eine noch dunklere Variante wäre cool. Diese Farbe passt gut bei mittel braunen Haaren und kann auch bei dunklen genutzt werden. Nur das man dann eben etwas aufpassen muss, dass man es auf ganz dunklen Haaren evtl. etwas nacharbeiten müsste.Was auch super ist, bei herkömmlichen Spray Trockenshampoo's saut man sich durch das Sprühen das Bad und zum Teil auch die Klamotten ein. Das ist bei einem Pulver gar nicht der Fall, es lässt sich gut gezielt auftragen und man atmet auch mein Spray ein. Das ist auch toll.Im Großen und Ganzen gefällt mir dieses Trockenshampoo sehr gut, werde es wieder kaufen.Gefällt mir viel besser als das von puremetics (das riecht für mich zu stark und Verpackung ist nicht stabil).1 Stern Abzug dafür, dass es nur ein Loch hat zum Streuen (da kann ein alter Salzstreuer noch einmal einen guten Zweck erfüllen)Update April 2022: Benutze es immer noch sehr gerne und habe zu dem Handtuch Tip noch einen weiteren, falls einem die Farbe noch nicht dunkel genug ist; Lidschatten! Irgendwann kam ich auf die Idee, die minimal helleren Stellen einfach mal mit einem Shader Pinsel, manchmal nehme ich auch einen ausgedienten Mini Kabuki von Real Techniques, und streiche quasi dunkel braunen (matten, ohne Glitzerpartikel) Lidschatten auf die etwas helleren Stellen. Das funktioniert echt super! Das Ergebnis ist für mich echt vergleichbar mit dem Batiste für Brünette. Bin mit dieser Lösung sehr zufrieden. Als Lidschatten nehme ich einen Mineral Lidschatten von Alverde in dunkel braun, der eigentlich auch für Augenbrauen gedacht ist.

Ho preso questo prodotto perché volevo provare qualcosa di diverso rispetto gli shampoo secchi in aerosol e ne sono molto soddisfatta. Mi piace molto il fatto che la confezione sia interamente riciclabile ma resistente e il profumo è gradevole.L'utilizzo è diverso rispetto a quello a cui ero abituata, in quanto bisogna fare attenzione a non versarne troppo sui capelli e distribuirlo bene con le mani.Il mio consiglio è quello di andare a piccole dosi e aggiungerne a seconda del bisogno. È importante scuoterlo (coprendo il foro con un dito) prima di ogni uso, come da istruzioni, e usare prima le dita e poi un pettine per distribuirlo ben bene.Io l'ho preso per capelli scuri e il fatto che sia colorato aiuta a non farlo sembrare forfora, al tempo stesso però bisogna fare attenzione a pulire bene i residui che rimangono sotto le unghie.Penso che lo riprenderò, una volta finito.

Super Trockenshampoo, duftet leicht und angenehm, hat eine schöne Wirkung und macht das Haar frisch.Das Einzige was mich stört ist, dass der Deckel das kleine Loch, aus dem das Pulver kommt, nicht direkt verschließt. Wenn man das Shampoo in der Handtasche hat krümelt so alles innen in den Deckel und beim Öffnen gibt es eine Sauerei.

Mein favorisiertes Trockenschampoo wurde schon vor einiger Zeit bei DM aus dem Sortiment genommen und seitdem habe ich einige Produkte durchprobiert. Wichtig ist mir ein Pulver, sodass es für Reisen im Handgepäck gut geeignet ist. Andere Marken haben ständig Rückstände verursacht, hatten einen zu starken Geruch oder schlechte Streuaufsätze - oder alles zusammen ;)Mit diesem Trockenschampoo bin ich endlich wieder vollkommen zufrieden und das zu einem sehr fairen Preis!- Der Streuaufsatz hat nur ein Loch. Es kommt genügend Pulver heraus und es lässt sich gut dosieren- Rückstände lassen sich super ausbürsten und sind nicht mehr sichtbar- Der Geruch ist sehr angenehm dezent

Riecht gut und tut, was es soll. Die Handhabung ist anfangs etwas schwierig, da man das Trockenshampoo über den Spender schlecht auftragen kann. Ich streue etwas davon in die Hände und massiere es in die Haare. Funktioniert gut - und verbraucht weniger als herkömmliches Trockenshampoo zum Sprühen.
