I put some on my feet with socks the night before a big hike, and my skin absorbed it, and my feet were so smooth and soft in the morning. I put more on before a 7 mile hike in the 90 degree heat and no hot spots. It is a little greasy but that's just on initial application. I got the 2 oz can which is going to last me a couple of months since a little goes a long way. It has a pleasant, minty smell, is very easy to apply, and is a great value for the money.
