Great product
I’ve used these post protectors for several years and I find they protect the section of the post that usually breaks due to soil damage.

Excellent product
Very easy to use, great product to protect wooden post from rotting.

Expensive but good
For what they are they seem a bit expensive. You still get a gap between post and saver even if you staple them down . Once heated up and smoothed out they seem pretty good, as mentioned though the gap could still let water sit between post and saver . Only time will tell if they can live up to the manufacturer’s claims.

Fence posts
Heating the tar under the cover is not easy and can cause the cover to hole!

Easy to install
These were easy to install, time will tell if they preserve the posts as stated. Certainly they will perform better than bare wood which is why I decided to use them.
