You know when you have to much of the same thing and you grow sick of the taste? Well, after a few year habit of taking beet juice that happened to me. But with all the benefits inherent to beets I would not wish to quit it entirely and have found a compromise with these beet supplements. So taste wise its a pill, so absolutely tasteless. What attracted me to this product was the ingredient mix compound looked upped to snuff. When taking vitamins I find myself being unable to say with certainty the eefectiveness as how does one measure that when so many varying factors affect the day to day, but I do feel like I benefited from some more energy- again, placebo effect is always a concern- and a general sense of wellness. It didnt cause any acid reflux, as some vitamins can. You should expect the benefits of iron, beef, and the all around clean formula. It got the job done, nothing I could note in terms of shortcomings and I recommend the product.

I got onto the idea of beets because someone on the internet said beet juice tastes like Pinot Noir wine....wooo. That sounded good because I like my dry red wine. And guess what -- beet juice doesn't taste like dry wine. It tastes like sweet DIRT. Yes, so no way was I going to drink anymore of that awful juice. But I wanted the nutrients of beets. The pills are quite large, but I would rather take a pill than take it in a liquid form. I’m not sure if I noticed any difference in my energy level? I’m not sure how quickly you are supposed to feel the benefits, so I can’t say that I’ve noticed anything different in my health or energy level after taking them. I appreciate the fact that I wasn’t allergic to them or had any side effects.

I usually use beet powder in my smoothies and shakes, but when traveling I find it inconvenient to use powder, so these pills fit the bill. Pack them with my regular vitamins and they're easy to take, ensuring I keep up with my beet root powder consumption.I find these pills easy to swallow (although to be truthful, I never have problems with any pills, regardless of size), and I haven't experienced any negative side effects in the way I feel, stomach, etc. So far, they seem to be working, although I suppose that's a hard thing to quantify.If you regularly take beet root powder (these do also have black pepper) you'll most likely be pleased with these.

I've been taking these beet root supplements for a while and have no stomach upset or other negative side effects. I've used mostly chewable beet root which have all been pretty enjoyable. These supplements are not chewable but are also not gel-caps--they're fairly large oval-shaped tablets. I had no trouble swallowing them but if you have any issues at all with swallowing pills, these might be tough for you. They're not smooth and are fairly chalky. I will still use them, though, as they seem to work just as well as the chewable ones.

I originally chose these for circulation support and immune support.You can faintly taste the flavor of beets when eating them but it is very mild and not long-lasting. They digest well too.
