adidas Originals Men's Stan Smith Leather Sneaker

I always wanted a pair of these. Bought not expecting much, but they are very comfortable, and people comment on them constantly.

I am a life long Nike guy. Mostly I wore basketball shoes, as they seem the most rugged. I did research and these are highly rated. I have been using them as my 'every day' shoe - so maybe they are not built for that. I use to wear dress shoes and a suit 8-12 hours a day. Since COVID it is jeans and sneakers. I got 9 months out of mine and I wore a hole in the heal. I will probably get another pair of Nikes but not these.

They got worn down quickly

There's a lot of reviews saying these are fake knockoffs and not real Stan Smiths. I bought mine sold and fulfilled by Amazon and they were authentic.If you don't know there are different "tiers" of Stan Smiths not all of them are the same. Most of the ones on this page are the "puffy tongue" cheap ones everyone is used to seeing. They're great and comfortable shoes but you get what you pay for, the leather is lower grade and plastic/vinyl coated which is standard and appropriate for the price these shoes retail for. If you want nicer leather get the thin tongue premium model or save up for an italian minimal sneaker based on the Stan Smith profile instead. These are still the gold standard cheap white minimal sneaker. They look great when they're new but the leather on these ages like milk not wine.They size differently than a lot of adidas shoes and the sizing info on adidas' website is inaccurate. You want to go down either a half or full size from your normal size in Adidas or else the heel is loose.

I've a wide, flat foot, so I generally have to be pretty picky about my shoes, but except for the faux leather (which looks convincing enough), these are an exact reproduction of the Stan Smith Adidas tennis shoes from the '70's, which were worn by Carl Kolchak (a.k.a. the Night Stalker). I decided to make my Kolchak cosplay costume more accurate by getting a pair of these. I generally wear a 12, but I'd heard these run narrow, so I ordered a size 13 pair elsewhere (This seller was out of 13's). Looking at the bottoms of the two sizes, I didn't think the 13's would be wider, but after walking around a bit with a 12 right and a 13 left side-by-side, I can tell you that the 13 does have a bit more width. Also, the seller of the 13's had them on sale, so I saved money. No complaints about this seller or the product, though.

I was leaving for a vacation to Italy and I was going to be gone for three weeks. I needed a comfortable sneaker that would look good and be comfortable for long days on my feet. I had a pair of these back in the 1980's I thought I remembered them as being comfortable -----but I'm in my 50's now. Is my memory to be trusted??? I'm back from my trip and I can tell you I couldn't be happier with this purchase. Buying shoes without trying them on is something I'd usually avoid doing but I was under a time crunch. Thank you prime. Wearing brand new shoes that were not broken in--big mistake, right? Not so with these puppies, they were instantly comfortable and fit great. bonus points these are trendy shoes in Italy where people are very well dressed so I felt comfortable where ever I wore them. Great fit and comfort when I wore them with socks, no shows, or barefoot. Well made and not showing any wear after a lot of miles. Easy to wipe clean and keep looking white and new. This is a classic shoe for a reason and Adidas is a world respected brand for good reason too. Reasonable price, true to size, well made, classic.

I remember this style of sneaker when I was a kid. It seemed so stylish despite some the obnoxious colors in sports gear of the 80s. When I noticed that Adidas had brought it back, the design fit right in with its retro-look in the 2020s. I placed the order before Adidas discontinued it. Although I've been wearing them periodically, they feel stiff. I also bough some similar fashion sneakers from Nike and Puma. Out of the these three, I think these Adidas are the most stylish, but the least comfortable. My Pumas are the most comfortable out of the three. I get the most compliments out of my Adidas & Pumas.

Il prodotto è fallato. La scarpa destra ha una sporgenza dura all'interno del tallone che rende la camminata dolorosa e provoca vesciche. Il calzolaio mi ha detto che non è riparabile. Ormai è stata indossata. Non posso nemmeno cambiarla. Una vera fregatura. Assoluta. È il terzo paio che mio figlio compra identico. E si è sempre trovato bene. Quindi la scarpa la conosciamo perfettamente. Questa è proprio fallata

Et bien pour la première fois, je ne suis pas content de ce produit Amazon .. c'est ma 3eme paire de suite .. 1) Je mets toujours la même pointure pour ce même modèle.. et celles-ci sont étonnamment trop petites ! 2) l'article est arrivé dans un sachet classique, la boîte était donc presque pulvérisée ! 3) Les chaussures présentaient des traces dans la cuir, lacets défaits et plus rembourrage intérieur.. les chaussures avaient donc déjà été (un peu) portées ! Article retourné illico presto.
