This holster is extremely lightweight and fits my Taurus GX4XL perfectly. It locks in place very well. You can turn the holster upside-down and shake it. The weapon stay in securely. I'd recommend it, it's well worth it.

Wife & I really got to use these for a beginner defensive hand gun class. We love the way they FIT the GUN so well, it feels like they -latch- into place. Drawing from the holster is easy, fast & consistent. The optics cut out, perfectly placed. The 'tunnel' for the front sight, so it doesn't get hung up, moved or damaged - so much better than leather. We bought 2 righty IWB and 2 lefty IWB, same models for our 'matched' his 'n hers guns. We're right handed, for the class, we were told to bring OWB only... So, the lefty IWB worked perfectly as a righty OWB, and I mean really good! The belt hook took a couple of tries to get the holster seated 100%, that's us, not the holster. I'm looking for another set, just like these, for another pair of guns!

This CYA holster is the best holster I’ve ever owned. It is a perfect fit for S&W 9mm M&P Shield Plus. The belt clip is sturdy and can be adjusted. The fit is just right, not too tight but firm enough to hold weapon in place. The material used is lightweight yet sturdy. I paid more than twice the price from a well known holster manufacturer and yet the CYA holster out preforms it in quality and price. I love it.

Excellent holster! I've tried many, many, many holsters over the years. This is probably the best bang for the buck I've come across. They are well made and use Boltaron instead of Kydex. The biggest difference is Boltaron is much smoother, maybe slightly softer but not by much. Weight is great, fit is as good as it comes, and the clip is pretty good. I look for holsters that cover the mag release and have full sweat shield, these have both! I would put these right up there with Bladetech holsters. I took a Bladetech Teklok and attached it to the CYA, the fit is tight but definitely works well. I also have some Bladetech belt loops that I've swapped the slip for. My 2 suggestions for CYA is offer something other than the clip and get some light compatible holster released. I've bought several for my carry guns.

Fits the firearm well, however, it is not super comfortable for my frame (5'8" 150#) It works...but isn't great... The build quality is beyond it's price point for sure. Very well made item. Conceals well-ish under a larger shirt or sweater, if you can stop adjusting it that is. Not too bulky. Draw is smooth. ride height is a little too deep for my taste, difficult to get a grip on the firearm. You get what you pay for, and with CYA you are getting much more than you pay for. Is it on par with other top level holster companies? Quality wise: Absolutely. Is it going to be the most comfortable thing you have ever worn? If you are my size: Probably Not, but that is due to lack of adjustability. That is what you are paying for with the bigger brands out there: Options. Everyone is built differently and that adjustability is worth every penny if you carry everyday. Not unhappy at all, functions as it should. Might work better for a bigger person or in a bag or purse.

The main reason I purchased this, is because it's compatible with optics, and it also has a magazine release cover. I bought it for my springfield hellcat with a vortex defender CCW red dot, which I use for conceal carry any time I leave the house. My old holster doesn't have a mag release cover, and a few months ago my mag release button was bumped while I was shopping in a Cabela's. The mag fell out and hit the ground on a tile floor, causing a loud crash. At that point, you may as well be open carrying, because it isn't really concealed anymore when you're dropping mags! EVERY conceal carry holster should have a magazine release cover! Lucky for you, you're reading this review right now, so you already found the best one to buy. It's lightweight, durable, and checks all the boxes. In addition to the details above, the belt clip is also great on this one. It's wide, and has a solid lip on the bottom, so it will grip your belt exceptionally well. The retention force is also adjustable, so if you're carrying without a belt, you can simply loosen it all the way to ensure the holster stays on your hip, rather than staying attached to your pistol when you draw.

Just purchased this holster so I can't speak for longevity. It is the most comfortable holster ever. I'm old 66yof. Retired nurse wear old scrubs all the time because that's what I'm use to. This does not drag my pants down. Which I'm amazed by. No belt, stays firmly in place. The can't is perfect for me without adjustment. I did have to loosen to make gun removal easier. Clicks into place and stays snug until I draw it. Very pleased so far.

Was hard to find a decent IWB holster for my hellcat pro. This fit perfect and covers the mag release which I like a lot. The hellcat mag release is very easy to engage and the added protection around it is a plus. I added a monoblock metal belt clip because I don't care for plastic belt clips. It is a smooth and thick type of plastic material that feels like much higher quality than other holsters. The forward can't is great for strong side hip carry and it was hard to find that specific holster cause nowadays a lot of people appendix carry. All in all I'm very happy with this holster. The color is nearly identical to the hellcat FDE frame, almost looks like this holster was made from springfield armory. I plan to get a S&W bodyguard 2.0 and if I do I will definatley buy a holster from this company again. Best value for what you are getting.
