It works
Used a staple gun to hold it together, but it’s a nice craft frame.

Not the correct size for my needs
The media could not be loaded. This was my fault, overall. This is not big enough for a 40x50 cm diamond painting. And, there are no instructions whatsoever on assembly. Now I could definitely put it together without them, but even a small picture only instruction paper would be helpful. So, if you are looking for something to frame a piece that is 40x50 cm, this will not work. However, the frame itself IS 40x50 cm. Be cautious and read every word so that you understand what exactly you are getting.

Not as easy as it seems!
Not so easy to stretch out canvas. I learned my lesson and will stick to pre-framed canvases. Finished product looks a lot better.

Sturdy hard wood
Ordered the double pack of 40x50cm stretcher bars to stretch canvas. The fit is perfect for my 16x20 paint-by-number. The only issue is I can’t push the thumbtacks into the wood because it’s too hard. If I use a little hammer action, the thumbtack post breaks off. Purchased a heavy duty stapler so I can make sure this will work. Corners are easy to get a good 90 degree angle.

size is not 16"x20"
The frame was easy to assemble. Unfortunately, after stretching a painted canvas over it, I found that when I tried to put it in a picture frame, I could see gaps between the painting and the picture frame because the painting was now shorter than 16x20 and would fall out of the frame. I had to build my own 16x20 and that worked. I guess I could stretch the frame out a bit because the corners are not glued or nailed but then the 90 degree corners would not meet.
