Great size, easy to use
I absolutely love this silicone sphere. For my purposes the size is perfect. I can insert items easily into the mold without worrying about distorting the shape. It sits flat and is stable, so no worrying about having your mold tip over and your project pour all over the floor. Once cured, it’s so simple to peel off the mold for a perfect resin sphere! A must have if you love playing around with epoxy resin.

another half mm thickness?
I set it in a ring to hold it and it deformed where ti was in the ring, Alas. So wish it was just a tad thicker, just a bit. Used it for cement and still love the form achieved, though not the perfect sphere desired....

Just what I've been looking for
I'm using it for making large ice cube balls that will fit into my water jug that has a 4" opening. I wanted the ice to be as large as possible while still being able to fit into the jug. This way I get ice that lasts the entire day.

EASY TO UNMOLD
Because of thickness gets very hot curing even smokes do to temperature. But still thinks it is perfect.

Required Cutting for Removal
Worked. Unfortunately it required me to slice it down the side with a box cutter to remove it from the item once dry. However, I made a cement ball and it may work better with resin as advertised.

Resin is hard to remove, hard to clean
I don't know what it is about the material this is made from, but resin does not want to come off it. Little splashes of resin stick to the sides, and leave little pits in the surface when you demold. This is even after using a mold release spray prior to pouring the resin, and cleaning it right away after use with Dawn and a soft sponge. The only way I could get it off was to scrape it with my fingernail. . On the good side, my piece came out clear and shiny.
