Been depending on this here "Kitty creatine" for my little adoptees that stumbled into my house. Helps a ton and is tried and true for past litters. High quality and I was confused if it was the same as the old 2nd step. it's the same thing. Don't be thrown off by the packaging.

KMR is a good product step two for feeding kittens over six weeks and in the weaning process. You step one prior to six weeks to begin the waning process and transfer over to the step two after six weeks.. can be mixed with cat food, wet or dry. Easy 1:2 mixed ratio. That way you can mix the amount you need so that it doesn’t spoil great product.

The kittens enjoyed the purchase to wing kittens from mama. They did get a little diarrhea but they were okay.

I had to remove my 3 seven week old kittens from their mother so she could have surgery. I was a little worried because they were just barely eating regular food. They lapped this stuff up and their little bellies were always full and they are very healthy. This stuff is fantastic.

It's been years since I had kittens in the house and the last time it was a foster litter who was still being cared for by the mother so I didn't have to worry about formulas and weaning. Luckily I did remember the KMR brand and decided to try this second stage weaning formula for little Tony, who I rescued on my property a few weeks ago. About a week after taking him in I could tell from his appetite that he was ready for more than just milk-type formula. This is a powdered formula that you mix yourself with plain water(I use filtered) and contains milk, beef, rice flour and obviously lots of nutrients.On the plus side this is an ideal transitional food, a perfect "toddler cereal" that is more filling than plain formula. My kitten took to it immediately and because it is more filling the frequency of feedings can be stepped down.On the negative side, it does require some careful mixing. Better to first add just a tiny bit of water to make a paste, then more water to thin it. Otherwise you get bubbles of powder that don't mix in very well. And more importantly, one of the ingredients is animal fat that has been preserved with BHA and BHT. I'm a little ashamed to say I did not completely read the ingredients upfront and only discovered this when I was nearly through with the first canister. These are preservatives that I have avoided like the plague with my pets for years because they are considered potential carcinogens. I'm surprised to see them being used in baby (animal) food and for that reason will be transitioning out of this cereal as soon as possible into regular wet kitten food. Here's hoping KMR will find another way to include this ingredient using safer preservatives or perhaps just discontinue it all together.

Great value for that stray kitten you saved from the streets. She drank it every feeding time like it was the greatest thing ever.

This was great for raising my 6 stray kittens. They loved it!! Got a bit pricey. Followed instructions and all thrived well! I recommend

Even mom cats love this. I had to start by syringe feeding because kittens didn't understand to lick it. Maybe I started them too soon at 4 weeks since mom was still nursing. Eventually I got them licking it, then added it to canned food as well. I love that it doesn't need refrigeration!

This is vital product for cat breeder or rescue and I appreciate i can get it, it helps the kittens wean and start eat food is perfect, has high protein for growing kittens

My kitten drinks it. I got this as a supplemental treat before bed because she was looking to nurse on my hands at times. This has curbed that habit.However, the can I received had no lid. Once I removed the pull tab pop top, I had to use cling wrap to create a makeshift lid. Luckily, I had a can of bread crumbs that was nearly empty and the same size so that solved my problem.Overall, the product is good but the packaging was problematic.

Bought this formula for our cats when they were kittens. I continue to give them some occasionally as they have the softest most luxurious hair ever. They are outside cats and because they were on it as kittens they have a better coat than the inside cats. Use of to maintenance now. Doesn’t take as much as the can says. I use 1 scoop watered down and split between 2 cats once a week just for “maintenance”. It makes it last as this product can get quite expensive, but it shuts cuts down on the shedding and dander ! And they feel so so soft!
