Broken in many pieces
I was disappointed that every piece of chalk was broken into at least two pieces and some sticks more than two pieces. They will be hard to use with some pieces measuring barely an inch. But I need the chalk now, so I will reluctantly keep the chalk as is. Otherwise, I would have returned the item.

Too brittlr
This chalk broke way too easily. Used it for a Girl Scout Painting project and every piece broke just gently drawing outlines, some broke while being handed out.
