A: According to the box, these candles are manufactured in the EU, and the box shows corporate offices in both Poland and The Netherlands.

**Q: Do these candles have lead free wicks?**
A: There is no lead in the wicks.

**Q: Do they store well in hot temperatures? Ordo they melt or deform easily?**
A: We put up with hot summers and find that they do not deform easily. We use candles on a regular basis year round and have found these to be excellent for the price. Easily as good as or better than similar candles selling for much more in local stores. I highly recommend them.

These candles arrived loosely packed, and I could hear them clanking around in the package. I figured they'd be broken, but they weren't even dented! They look great. They are dripless and burn well. The only quibble I have is that the diameter of the candles is just a bit smaller than a standard candleholder. Still giving them 5 stars, though.
