OK, first thing I should reveal is that I am a scent snob. That should really more accurately be a NON-scent snob. I do not like highly scented, perfumy anything. Period. Floral or chemical scents that try to cover up smells are awful. I was concerned this "commercial" grade odor product might end up directly in the trash due to an overpowering scent. When I first opened it up I was almost sure it would be thrown out. I put my nose right up to it and wasn't a fan of the scent, but decided to give it a try. SO GLAD I DID! I placed it in a non-conspicuous place and haven't touched it since. I have a small apartment and I don't notice any residual smell at all. And it does the job! I have a hamster cage I keep clean, but wanted to be sure my place is always smelling fresh and not like a hamster den. I highly recommend this product. If you need to freshen your space effectively, this Fresh Wave product is for you.

I really like this product. I spend more than average on trying to find something to keep my bathroom deodorized. It sees a lot of use! I purchased one of these along with the spray. I didn't like the spray because it wet up everything and I didn't like the smell. It didn't seem to work that effectively either. I was impressed with the gel so I bought another one. I have both in my bathroom and a glade automatic frangrace sprayer. I will definitely be buying more. As far as how long it lasts I had my first one for about three weeks as of writing this. It still has gel in it and is working great!I do agree with one reviewer who said there should be some type of refill option instead of repurchasing new containers. I recoItmmend this product. I haven't tried the consumer one. I'll stay with what works!

I previously wrote a poor review because I still smelled smoke after an hour but if you’re patient it’ll eventually get rid of the cigarette smoke odor

Don't expect this gel to give off a scent, given its ingredients boasting how natural it is. It worked really well deodorizing the bathroom and other areas of the house I placed it in. I've used the commercial one plus the consumer one and I personally do see a difference in deodorizing ability with the commercial one (even when its smaller too). The only con I have is not being able to find a large refill for this rather then having to buy a new container over and over again.
