My daughter in potty training loved this!
I read it last night to my 2-year-old daughter, who didn't get the whole depth of the story but still though the poop situations were hilarious. She made lots of comments about the princess' dresses and, especially, was very interested in all the different potties, as she's starting to be interested in the subject. We had to read it 3-4 times! We'll get to the coloring this weekend.

Enjoyable at any age!
This is an absolutely charming story and beautifully illustrated. The recreation of the story as a coloring book at the end of the illustrated story is a real bonus. I can’t wait to read it to my 2 year old grandson.

It is a lovely and funny book. The drawing was simple
I bought this book for a friend's daughter and read it myself first. It is a lovely and funny book. The drawing was simple, vivid and to the point. This is would be an excellent gift for a girl obsessed with princesses.

perfect for a 2 year old little one: making choices, coloring, and potty training
As a daddy whose little one is to be 2 years old soon, this books comes at the perfect timing. It covers three most important topics about 2 years old: teaching the little one to make choices, coloring and drawing, and potty training. The book is beautifully illustrated. It uses a story of a princess (my daughter’s favorite topic anyway, likes 99% of girls in her age+) to tell how a princess need make good and quick choices for their everyday things, such as dresses and potties ;) (This is definitely my favorite part separating this book from other 99% princess storybooks). The book also comes with pages for the kids to re-create the story using their own pick of colors. My little one can’t really paint within the character frames yet, but she certainly enjoyed putting (and messing?) different colors into the princess’s hair and dresses. I’m sure that this will be of one of those memorials we will save to “embarrass” her when she grows up ;).

Lovely book for humanizing princesses
I love this book! I read it to my 3.5yo a few times and she absolutely loved it!! In fact, she liked it so much that she remembers the story by heart now and she's telling it to her "children". The book does a great job at humanizing the princess character, without any pretense or resorting to black/white judgements. The text is full of rhymes and the story flows really beautifully. Together with the nice drawings and the are extra pages for coloring, this book is lot of fun, which might actually help reduce your child's obsession with princesses.

What a fun original story
Love it! Our daughter who just turned 4 loved reading the story and then coloring the coloring pages. She is fascinated with all things princess and was delighted that even princesses have to use the potty. The illustrations and writing are clever, original and so expressive making it a really fun read. What a great addition to our children's library.
