Higher waisted, with a thick elastic waistband. Little pleat-things in the back, right near the “butt dips” area make the butt look curvy. Which isn’t a great thing for me, honestly, bc my butt is ample & curvy enough as it is! They are quite snug thru the thigh & butt area, and I’m used to wearing jeans or work trousers. I never wear yoga pants, so I’m a little uncomfy in these, bc I feel like my butt is on display. I may try to send them back for a Medium, bc I like the material and the quality seems decent. I’m 5’4, 122 lbs , have a small waist , but I am very bottom heavy & have thick, athletic legs / calves.
