It keeps soup warm for longer than 6 hours. It’s the perfect size. The description is spot on. Everything that it says it’s true.

It keeps food hot for my kids but it’s hard to clean.

Update: 4 days after I had written this review I got a reply to my original email. The email read:"Regarding the problem of the product, we have several complaints about the same problem on the lid. After discussing with the manufacturer, they did find some issues in production for the previous batch of the shipment. Although it's in a very small percentage for the defective products, but it has caused our valuable customer troubles.Now we have a new shipment coming and it will arrive in about a month. In the meantime, please inform us with your address and we will arrange a replacement food jar from our old stock in 2 days."I opted to try my luck with one of the existing stock and true to their word they have shipped it to me shortly after I replied. Unfortunately, that one had the exact same defect. Now we are waiting for the new batch to arrive. All in all, once the contact was established, they have been responsive and responsible. Even though, I have not received a functioning replacement yet, I am a satisfied customer.Original Review: Oct 17 2019I have purchased two of these containers before the school year started. When they came I checked them to make sure they were OK. However, we did not get to use them immediately. The first time we were using it, I put some hot water to warm the container while I was preparing the food. And when I opened the container to dump the water the metal part of the lid fall off. It seems it is not possible to put it back on without an industrial press (we tried). No big deal, right, the company says lifetime replacement for quality issues. And this is the first use ever! I reached out to them via email (from their website) and their Facebook account. I have not received a reply to anything yet (it has been over 2 weeks). If there are no quality issues, the product works well. I like that all parts that come in contact with food is stainless steel. It is easy to clean (as long as the gasket part doesn't get messy). If it weren't for the lack of response from the company I would have given it 4 stars.So, all in all, buyer be aware. If you want to risk a company that is unreachable roll the dice. You might get lucky...
