I got new boots!
Great product. Easy to use. It's easy to apply and suede absorbs it nicely. I changed to color of these boots as they had to many stains and was about to donate them. Black suits them beautifully. One bottle covered one full boot and 2/3 of the second one, so I'm buying a second bottle. I think if they were short boots, one bottle would have been fine. I also need to get a more delicate brush to get in the edges of the suede and the sole.

Successfully dyed suede booties Dark Brown
This dye worked well. I took my time and let each coat dry 24 plus hours. It took about 3/4 bottle for 2 coats plus some touch ups. It came with a fluffy applicator which worked well for the first go 'round, but because you have to wait for 2nd coat, I washed the applicator well as described. You have to or it will just make it a hard clump. It was not as easy to use on next coats, but ok. I also used Q-tips around the edges which I had taped since I did not want dye on the stitching or soles. I would say the most difficult part was to apply a "thin coat" for 2 reasons; the dye is the consistency of water and suede absorbs the liquid very quickly so spreading the dye quicky to try and make for thin coat is a challenge. That said, I'm no pro, but accomplished what I was after. After all was dry, I used a suede protector spray so just hoping all will remain looking good. I haven't used the newly dyed booties yet, but at this point would say the quality is good. The dark brown color resulted in a deep chocolate brown which I was bit nervous about this dye providing, but the color turned out exactly as I hoped. Side note - there is embroidery on these booties which I brushed the dye over (not caring what that color outcome would be). The dye did not dye the embroidery - possibly stained it a little? That I did not document.

SUPPOSED TO BE THE BEST!
SUPPOSED TO BE THE BEST! I HAVEN'T USED IT YET, BUT WE'LL SEE. WELL, I USED IT TODAY. IT WENT ON EASILY, BUT THE COLOR IS NOT TAN. IT'S MORE ORANGE/RED. I'VE BEEN HOPING IT WOULD LIGHTEN TO TAN AS IT DRIED, BUT I DON'T SEE ANY EVIDENCE THAT THAT'S GOING TO HAPPEN. I'M WILLING TO DYE THE BELT AGAIN, BUT I WANT THE END RESULT TO BE A NICE SOFT TAN, NOT ORANGE/RED. WHAT COLOR DYE DO YOU RECOMMEND?

Vibrant color
Talk about renewed shoes! My daughter’s Campus became old & ugly quick, sent them off for professional cleaning & they came back looking worse! Light pink was not smart for an active kid. We wanted a darker color to cover the dirt & water stains. Enter this stuff & look at that difference. It bleeds like crazy though, so beware. I used painters tape & it still bled through but I was able to find a matching flexible acrylic to cover the stains on the soles & used rubbing alcohol dipped cotton swab to lighten the stripes & logo. The color is gorgeous & vibrant! I dropped a star because it’s much darker than we wanted. Lilac is supposed to be a light purple. Still love this color though

The pink is awful!
I'll be honest - I'm not sure what happened here. I bought the blue last month and it worked perfectly. I was super happy with it. So this month, I bought the pink for the same exact material that I also needed dyed. It was a huge MESS. I did everything the same as the blue - shook the bottle, did light layers, worked it into the material in light, small circles. I gave it 2.5 days to dry before touching, with it hanging up so it didn't touch anything and could dry evenly. When I touched it again, it was a mess. There was a white film that was invading and staining all the vinyl pieces that weren't the doe suede, and touching the fabric made the dye and white film coat my hands even though it was dry. It felt awful. I had to wash my hands, wash the vinyl as much as I could (still stained in a weird white), and then I washed and washed the fabric to get out as much of the dye as I could. I'm not sure what to do now - I used most of the bottle on the amount of fabric I was dyeing, and now I'm left with a mostly-undyed fabric, stained vinyl, and almost no dye to try again. I'm assuming whatever the white they use to make the pink wasn't blending properly into the color, despite repeatedly shaking the bottle well. It looked split when I was putting it on, but knowing it was shaken well, there wasn't much left for me to do but hope it worked. It didn't.

Functional, reliable and predictable.
Love Angelus and have used it for many years. It has helped so many of my shoes with this and other products. Always reliable and predictable.

easy to apply
I feel like it needs a sealer over it to keep it from running but it does make the suede look fresh

My light grey suede trainers had been ruined in the mud, and the colour was terrible after I cleaned them. With this suede colour I made them look as good as new! I used a small paint brush for fiddly bits like around the shoelace holes and a bigger brush for the rest. Super easy to use. Highly recommended.

Dyed these shoes as they weren’t the colour I wanted, a bit dubious initially but the colour was fantastic. I used an artist brush to dye around the sole and heel. Very pleased with the result.

This is jolly good, covered a pair of slightly faded boots, they look like new, good strong colour
