StarBlue 3 in 1 Dessert Maker, White

I read the reviews for this pros and cons. I went to Japan and tried these tayaki fishes. Now of course this one isn't going to be like those commercial machines. Where one can add any kind of filling. I just added a few baking chocolate chips to my batter and this satisfied my sweet tooth LOL. Use baking chips because they melt faster than regular pieces of chocolate. And throw them in a blender or food processor just to quicken the melting process . Add to your batter. As long as anything you add is super tiny it'll work. My experience with this machine. And it was FUN making these!! I even did a special batter for my dogs. Added chicken broth instead of water. Tiny diced pieces of chicken. A nice treat for the whole family. So many recipe variations! I am looking forward to making these with my grandson too!! Give this three in one a try!!

its very easy to use, the plates are easy to put in and take out. I got it mostly for the Taiyaki plates, but my husband loves cake donuts so that will be my next usage. its quick to heat and cook, its small and compact so easy to gift and clean. I would buy this and gift it.

I liked this maker of snacks but the wife returned is as the cakes it made were way to small for her. She thought it was more along the line of Korean Street Food. There are other products for that. I enjoyed the cakes. Easy to use!

It worked well and made nice taiyaki, but the case cracked next to the handle the first time we used it. It still works, but this is not a sign of high quality.

On a rainy afternoon, I decided to try the Mini-Donuts Maker, Mini-Pie and Quiche Maker, Taiyaki Maker – 3-in-1 Detachable, and it turned into an instant hit at home. This clever little appliance is fun, versatile, and a great way to bring a smile to kids (and adults!) on a dreary day. 🍩 Three Machines in One What makes this truly special is the 3-in-1 functionality. You can make mini donuts, small pies or quiches, and even taiyaki-style treats — all with one compact device. Switching between plates is easy thanks to the detachable design, so you can experiment with different snacks without cluttering your kitchen. 🎨 Fun for Kids and Families The size and shape of the treats are perfect for little hands, and decorating them afterward becomes a creative activity in itself. My kids loved choosing fillings and toppings, which made the experience interactive and enjoyable. It’s a fantastic way to combine cooking and play. 💡 Easy to Use & Clean The non-stick plates heat evenly, and the compact size makes cooking fast and efficient. Cleanup is simple, too — just detach the plates and wipe them down. It’s hassle-free compared to larger, single-purpose appliances. 🍳 Versatile & Creative Beyond just fun treats, this appliance can be used for breakfast, snacks, or even party appetizers. It’s small enough to store easily but versatile enough to handle a variety of quick, fun recipes. ✅ Final Thoughts The Mini-Donuts/Mini-Pie/Taiyaki 3-in-1 Maker is more than just a gadget — it’s a source of fun, creativity, and smiles. Perfect for cheering up kids, inspiring culinary experiments, or making snack time extra special. Highly recommended for families who love hands-on, tasty fun!

The unit takes a while to heat up but I prepared the batter during that time. For my first time, I tried out the mini-donut and fish plates. The plates were easy to change. The donuts are very small and might be a good size for toddlers. The fish were just right for us adults. Everything tasted great. I followed directions and it works well. The recipe book looks interesting. It’s an eBook, PDF format, and is available online, about 35 pages. It was a little tricky to find but I was able to use the option to save it to my Kindle, so now I’ll have it on hand. So far, very good!

The plates are so shallow , I’d be shocked if the finished Taiyaki was 1/8” thick. Tried different amounts of batter and custard filling and nothing I tried left filling inside when finished. If you follow direction of 3-5 mins, it’s only mostly cooked and tears when you open lid, had better luck with linger time but there was no custard inside. I spent more money on trying to clean it (time and water) so I could return but gave up and throwing away. TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT! Miss our gas stove and Taiyaki plate even more now!

Works good. Do not put too much dough. I like the product.
