What does "unplasticized" mean ...and why is it touted as a plus in this application? Thanks

The term "Unplasticized" means there is no plasticizer in the material which is the main cause of damage to coins in the form of PVC. Specifically, it's an Unplasticized Poly Vinyl Chloride (uPVC) product which is known as having strong resistance against chemicals, sunlight, and oxidation.
