This is a heavier, high quality drape for haircutting. Fits child to adult size necks and the hair slides off smoothly. I wanted one with velcro so it could adjust perfectly to any size. Just what I was looking for. Way better than the thin plastic cape that came with the razor.

Sure, I don't get a crisp fade anymore and that sucks. But I also don't risk getting sick standing in my bathroom with a Wahl clipper set to #4 guard while jamming out to Delta blues. However, the perennial problem of "hair in my clothing" persists, even at home. I shave shirtless (don't think about it, trust me) and even with that added protection, I still end up getting itchy hair in my clothing and it's MADDENING. I knew something had to be done about it and Wahl, being the generous benefactors they are, allowed me to don the cowl of The Wahlman through Vine. No one cared who I was before I put on the cape. They still don't but now my neck doesn't itch.I got this and it's great. You slap this baby around your neck and you feel like you're wearing Frodo's cloak while also getting ready to protect the streets from crime. When shaving, it does a great job of keeping hair out of your clothing so that you don't have to do the itch dance for a day. Or do the clothing shake shimmy just to get microscopic hairs out of your shirt so you stop feeling like you're smuggling a hedgehog. It cinches tight around the neck (it's got velcro to cinch it to your appropriate neck size) and it even fits around my fat neck so it'll fit around yours. Plus, while you shave, you can scream movie quotes into the mirror about Rachel or whichever movie you prefer.All-in-all, this cape is fun. It protects you from stray hairs, makes clean-up easier (don't need to vacuum a shirt when you can just sweep the floor), and just makes you feel cool. I've spent $20+ on worse things that boost my self-confidence. I'm looking at you, skateboard from 1999. You did the opposite.

I opted to order the Wahl premium reusable barbers cape for home, made in China, even though I won’t have much opportunity to use it.This 60” long by 56” wide cape is made from 100% polyester and is large enough to keep the person wearing it clean. The cape includes a 2” x 5.5” logo on the chest area and uses a simple but effective Velcro neck strap. This cape is what you would expect it to be and works well.If a guy comes over for some basic hair clipping, I would prefer to see skin. Although, this cape is a nice touch for when less intimacy is desired. I've used a vinyl hair cape to cut hair at home for years but when I saw this Wahl cape, I knew it was time for an upgrade. Honestly wasn't expecting much but this thing is pretty darn impressive. It is quite large so it should fit folks of all body types. Took off a star because the neck doesn't fit too snug, especially if you have a thin/small neck. But overall I am very happy with this hair cape and it will definitely last for many years.

I've cut my husband's and my son's hair at home for years and years. My son is now almost 14 and I've cut his hair since he was 3, so a long time of cutting and testing out barber tools and capes. I've been needing a new barber cape to replace an old one for a while so when I saw this come up, I was glad to try it out. It is a nicely made durable cape that completely covers my son's clothing and body, so he doesn't have to deal with the itching and scratchiness from all the hair falling on him. It is easy to wipe down and sterilize after each use and is a breeze to fold up and store away until the next time. Definitely seems to be a good well-made cape so I'd say the value compared to the price at the time of this review, makes it pretty good and worth investing in.

I started cutting my boyfriends hair and dying my own at home ever since the pandemic started. I thought we’d go back to the salon, but I’ve gotten pretty good so I’ve decided to keep doing it. So, I figured it was time to upgrade the towel for a nice professional barber cape. This one is great quality. It’s very long, easy to adjust, and even has a little loop so you can hang it on the wall.My only complaint is the price seems to be a little steep compared to others. At the time of this review this is $19.99 while others are in the range of $9.99 - $15.99 .

Most barber capes are around ten dollars, so this is more expensive than other sellers, but you are supporting a brand name, Wahl, the clipper we trust.There's nothing really negative to say about the product itself. The front will extend past someone's knees, and the back will extend to your hips. Hair will glide down the smooth surface, and it can be machine washed without any issues.Overall, you are getting a quality item from a company you trust.

I'd previously bought a barber's cape, as I cut my husband's hair. The previous one was not adjustable at the neck, so hair went down his back. I decided to fork out a bit more money for this Wahl cape, and its perfect! Not so much as one hair slipping down my husband's back. I definitely recommend this.
