ACTIF Organic FertilMax for Women - #1 Fertility Supplement and Ovulation Support, Maximum Strength, Clinically Proven - Non-GMO, Made in USA, 60 Count

When looking for vitamins, I always look for organic and natural (even though 'natural' is more of a loose term ). However, the product states that everything is 100% natural when, in fact, FD&C Yellow # 6 is an artificial ingredient. The yellow coloring additive is listed in 'other ingredients' and is, potentially, very minuscule in quantity. Although, I try to go out of my way to avoid artificial coloring in food, drug, and beauty products. I did check the information on the product website ( [...o]), in the product description, only to find that the legible product information leaves out the fact that the supplement contains FD&C Yellow #6. The same goes for the typed out ingredients on the Amazon product page. However, if you zoom in on the product ingredients on the ACTIF website or Amazon, or if you've purchased it, you will see that it is listed. The pills are orange, which, I assume, is where the color comes into play and is seemingly unnecessary. So, for me, that's the most disappointing thing about the product.As far as the pills go, there is no flavor, so typical. They seem a little large, but they're easy enough to swallow. For those who can't swallow pills whole, they are powder in cellulose capsules. The seal is on the side, so it can be cut to get the powder form out (which I haven't tried because I swallow them).My results, so far, are that I did feel a little nauseous when I first started taking the pills (although, not anymore). Also, I do feel like they are doing something, but I have yet to see the results as I just started taking them. My cycles are regular. However, it has been 5 years since I first started trying to get pregnant. I have had some tests and went on Clomid for 2 months with no luck. I am hopeful in trying this product, and I will try it for a few months, regardless of my feelings on the FD&C Yellow #6. (The product seems fairly new, so maybe the coloring will, eventually, be removed.) For what it is, though, the price is decent, and it is a more natural method on trying to improve fertility than Clomid and IUI or IVF, though it is a last fling for me before I move on to the latter.As I continue to use the product, I plan on updating my review and rating of the product.

I have been using Actif fertility supplement vitamins for over a year and a half. I'm not actively trying to get pregnant but always want to improve and then maintain my general health. In my later years (I'm in my early 40's), my periods got longer and longer and heavier due to uterine fibroids. HOWEVER, after I started these vitamins (this is why I am writing the review), my periods are a solid 5 days (not a week+) like before and are not early/late/missing. I'm not sure which ingredient within these vitamins that have improved my general wellbeing in this way, but I am happy to continue using them and will do for the foreseeable future.

Overall, this is a good product. Has all the vital nutrients. Use with caution if you are advanced maternal age as this product is expensive and more for women that are trying to get pregnant and under 35. IF you are not advanced maternal age I would recommend it: its easy to swallow and does not taste horrible, I did use this and got pregnant on my first use at 41 but at 43 and 44 this was not successful. You do the math. And dont forget to check out Rebecca Fett's book for useful supplement choices on whatever infertility issues you happen to be dealing with....best wishes.

I’ve been a customers of Actif products for over a year now and I must say they are great products. My wife and I started using the multivitamins for herself and my son when he was still in her belly :)We also used the Fertilimax product as we did have some hiccups trying to conceive at first and I do think this product helped boost up the chances. It’s an easy to swallow pill and it’s flavor isn’t bitter nor sweet so I think it will appeal to a lot of people as my wife has tried other brands and says how it leaves an aftertaste. I would highly recommend this product and all the products in the Actif line.I honestly have not noticed a flaw or disadvantage of taking these products and my wife’s OB gave us the thumbs up when we showed them to him (we’re the type of people who always want the opinion of their doctor). Hope this review helps you decide if this product is for you but my conclusion and of course I speak for my wife as well is BUY IT! You won’t regret it!

I didn’t have any problems with this product, but I only went through one bottle. The bad reviews about not getting pregnant are just ridiculous. This is to support conception & not guarantee pregnancy. So with that being said, I felt it was a good balance of vitamins and herbs. Everyone needs to find out the reason for not conceiving rather than blame it on a vitamin. However, I can see different reactions to this since everyone’s body is different. I am very used to taking supplements like this so I had no bad reactions or changes in ovulation. Overall, this supplement was decent. I was just looking for an overall multi vitamin to get my body stronger for conception. I wish there was more of a variety of vitamins, which is why I chose to go with something else.
