Q: What are the temperature ranges for Low, Medium and High?

Some people might miss it, but the temperatures were stated on the box and not the small sheet manual as: LOW -260 deg. F; Med - 320 deg F; High - 380 deg F. Using my IR temperature gun (don't know the accuracy) at the platen: Low - 260 Deg. F; Med. - 306 Deg. F; High - 338 Deg F.

Q: Will it melt through transparent/mesh t shirts?

It depends on what the material is. I've used the 1st setting for nylon and polyester and it hasn't melted them. Maybe test a spot with a few seconds first before going for it. I've also just made a ribbon (nylon?) quilt with OLD horse show ribbons and cricut names onto it with no issues with the first and second setting
