Nice Finish!
This product was pretty easy to use. Follow the instructions carefully! I would paint from the top to the bottom though, instructions are from bottom to top. This left a few paint drips that dried that way. Not a huge deal, but it would make it look professionally done without them. Finish seems to be quite durable- time will tell. This is the second time that this tub has been refinished, the last time someone put stickers on the tub when the paint was wet and I hated them! We did a lot of prepping by scraping and sanding the stickers off and sanding smooth all of the blemishes. You will need a good fan in the window or room as the smell is strong. We also changed the color from tan to white without any trouble or bleed through from the old color. Overall very happy with this product and would recommend for the DIY people!

Works well on a concrete sink
TLDR: I used this for a NON-bathroom application and am pleased with the results. if you are using this on a bathroom tub, shower, or sink, YMMV depending how scrupulous you are about the prep and application processes. The utility room of my 1941 house features a large double concrete sink that showed every bit of its age, with concrete loss, pitting, and staining. This sink serves as a drain for both the HVAC system and the clothes washer, and is also where we wash up after messy outdoor projects, so it is constantly exposed to water and dirt. Previous owners attempted to fix its appearance with patches and paints that just looked worse than the original surface and crumbled, bubbled or peeled away. So to start, I had to fill the cracks and re-finish the bottom of one side of the sink with a concrete epoxy product. That product worked very well, but that left me with the problem of how to then completely recover the inside surfaces on both sides with something waterproof that would not only stand up to abuse but also look decent. There are very few paint products out there that promised to do what I knew this sink needed. I considered many options, like concrete paints, epoxy garage paints, etc., and nothing really fit the bill for strength.BathWorks to the rescue. It's taken two purchases/two kits to get enough product to thoroughly coat and re-coat my sink, but I'm pleased with how it has performed. However, I was working in a rough area and didn't feel the need to be as scrupulous with the application as someone applying this in their bathroom. What *is* essential: an immaculately clean, bone dry, and dust- and grit-free surface. Because my concrete surface was already rough and porous, I was able to get away with *not* using the turpentine-like primer, etching compound, and sandpaper. I did take a great deal more care with the mixing and application of the white epoxy paint, but still experienced some drips and runs. I don't mind those drips because this is a utility room and I wanted a clean, waterproof surface, not a perfect one. I don't have ventilation in the space so speed was my priority! My sink was more or less dry to the touch after 24 hours, but I would advise a good 48 hours or more to be sure. Now that it's been double-coated, the finish is waterproof *and* can easily be cleaned up with a soft sponge or towel and plain soap. I strongly advise not using abrasive sponges or gritty cleansers on the painted surface. If you are using this in a bathroom on a fiberglass or ceramic sink, shower, or tub, it is **absolutely essential** to follow the prep instructions to a tee, AND exercise extreme care and caution with the brushing/daubing and rolling process. GO SLOW, don't be tempted to over-load your sponge brush or roller, and monitor for drips as you go. Be ready to gently roll them out *before* they start drying. If you have to, you can later lightly sand down a drip, carefully clean up the dust, and reapply.Need to know: This stuff stinks to high heaven and is toxic. Excellent ventilation and a respirator mask are VITAL essentials. Keep children and animals well away!

Do not buy this product from bathworks. So upset with this product. Ruin my bathtub and sink.
I shouldn’t bought this product. The roller brokes in the middle of painting and thank god I purchased 2 boxes so I used the second roller from the other box and it’s still keeps breaking into small tiny pieces and left the tub and sink looks bumpy and doesn’t looks smooth, it looks small tiny bumpy with the broken sponge of roller 😰🥺 I saw it’s leaving small pieces breaking from roller but can’t even stop it because I can’t leave half of bathtub done. I just can’t believe this. I had a high expectation and now I m thinking how to remove the paint now 🤦🏻♀️🥺 I’m so sad I just ruin my bath tub and sink. They looks so bad and bumpy, not smooth at all. I wrote this review so no other people should ruin there bathroom with this product. Oh my god I’m so sad.

Beautiful, shiny, white tub!
The product was easy to use. We followed all the directions very carefully. Since we only have a small window in our bathroom, we set the fan in the window to blow out. The smell wasn't too bad with the overhead fan and window fan. The color has a bit of grey, but it's so much better than the yellowy, beige '90s tub we had before.

Great product, poor tool kit.
The product itself is as advertised. Mixes and goes on easy. You definitely want a high quality respirator and several pairs of rubber work gloves. The more ventilation you can get the better. I ordered two kits for a tub/shower with a ceiling. Using the foam brush for the areas the roller wouldn’t cover, the brush started lose its physical strength before I finished the borders. The foam roller worked well until towards the end when it started coming apart leaving chunks of foam mixed with the product. I scraped them out and used the roller from the second kit to finish the first. The same thing happened with applying the second kit where the foam roller started falling apart before I was done. I had no other tools on hand to assist in finishing the tub edge and front, so some chunks of foam remained mixed in. I may need to redo part of the project.
