I have a tiny Halloween tree, very Charlie Brown in that the branches are sparse, the orange needles on them thin. I tried using regular twinkle/faerie lights but even a short string of them was overpowering—the wire/cord was too thick. Then I found these lights. The cord is transparent. The lights are micro/button in size. Add those two elements together + you have the perfect lights for my tiny tree! Even though they're LED, they aren't overpowering, just a lovely purple glow. The fact that all 8 strings come with batteries is the icing on the cake. I can replace them as they burn out + replace all the batteries next year or whenever they are all used up. How convenient is that! Thanks to the manufacturer for solving a decade-old lighting problem. : )

I ordered the blue set of lights. Each set comes with 4 strands and each strand is 6 feet. There are 20 SUPER BRIGHT LED lights on each strand, spaced 4 inches apart. There is 12 inches of clear cable between the last light on each strand and the battery box. The strands are made from bendable copper wiring which is easy to bend and twist into any shape you want. The lights (excluding the battery box) is even waterproof and submersible so get creative! They are powered by (2) CR2032 button cell batteries per strand and the batteries are included. The batteries are tucked away in a small flat battery box that is easy to hide while in use. There is a simple on/off switch on the battery box. The strands do not have timers - just the on/off switch so be sure to turn them off when not in use to avoid running down your batteries! So far, we've used a couple strands to back light our wall mounted monitors and it looks awesome! Since each strand is incredibly lightweight, they can be mounted easily with scotch tape.If my review was helpful, please select "YES" below. I used these lights to make a glowing jelly fish costume to carry while I went with my son trick-or-treating. Best idea ever especially when it got dark because all the cars could see us and slowed way down when they'd drive past. Also! There was a little note that said the batteries would last about 24 hours and they lasted waaaaay longer! I left them on just to experiment and they lasted 3 straight days before they started to even dim. And even once they started to dim, they STILL lasted another 3 days, it was incredible and I was very impressed. Definitely happy with this purchase ☺

I got these to string on a "halloween tree" when the lights that are part of the tree quit working. Needed a few strands to get the effect i wanted. They come with batteries already installed which is a plus. And the battery pack isn't very large. It uses one of those button style batteries (CR32 I think). I'm happy with it - it gives me the look I wanted. And it was an eight pack so when some quit working I'll just swap in another string. For the price, good value.

My daughter's wedding was a lunchtime event and these lights helped bring a little more festivity to the already bright occasion. They were very flexible and easy to wrap around a glass cupcake serving stand. The motor was small enough to tuck under the stand and not visible at all. Will definitely use these again.

Used these lights for a Halloween costume, Constance Hatchaway. My daughter received so many compliments on the costume with the lights. One strand died by the end the of night. They only have a 24 hour battery life and I’m sure we used some of that life testing them before we got there.
