The welding cracked after 2 swings. Not sturdy at all.

Excellent!
The build quality is great (all metal) and the feel of impact with the ball is actually quite realistic. Although it's not a real golf ball, it has some weight to it (eg it's not hollow plastic) so you can feel the impact with the club face and you hear a nice 'crack' (in a good way) when you connect with the ball. I've not had much time with this yet, so I can't say how long it will last but first impressions are great.
