it is even better than the last one
I had a Moshi Clear Guard for my mid 2012 Mac Book Pro, and 6 years later, it was still going strong. hen I got a new Mac Book Pro with Touch Bar, I bought this version for the new keyboard style, and wow, it is even better than the last one. These keys on the 2016 and newer Mac Book Pros (Touch Bar) are much shallower and have less travel, so I was skeptical about how a keyboard protector would work with them. But I have once again been impressed with Moshi's product. You can clearly see the keys and backlight, as well as the Touch Bar. It is almost like the protector is part of the keyboard, the feedback is flawless when pressing a key. I recommend this product to anyone looking for a quality keyboard protector.

Worth the Price
I was using a free keyboard silicon cover that I got from another Amazon vendor for my MB Pro 13" with the Touchbar. It ended up stretching and didn't fit well and it started fading as well. I knew it was time to get a replacement. I decided to try these out even though they're on the more expensive side. I'll have to say this was worth the money as the fit is perfect. The feel is great, and I can see all my buttons again. The TouchBar works perfectly even though it's covered, and the best part is that the case can now close completely. I haven't used it enough to know if it will transfer the oils to the screen, but it seems like it should be thin enough to prevent that from happening. We shall see. First impressions are 5 stars. *UPDATE* a couple of days of rigorous typing and no oily smears on the screen. My Macbook Pro is also able to close completely.

Pricey, but effective.
Anyone who has used the classic 50 cent rubber keyboard covers knows that within a matter of days they will be stained, falling apart, and never stay in place over the keys. Moshi's product is held down, perfectly cast, and makes the Macbook Pro's keys nice and quiet, while not completely reducing the feel of the keys. Pretty solid product - though, it does seem that the cover is fairly pliable - if you pick at the edges, etc., it'll pretty quickly start to come up on the corners. Would have liked to see more edge-focused adhesive, like on the top of the touch bar or middle of the sides, to ensure the edges stay flush.

Excellent!
First of all, if this keyboard cover doesn't fit, you've purchased the wrong model for your MacBook. This thin almost not there keyboard cover fits perfectly, and for some reason the tactile response of the keyboard is even better with this keyboard cover on than with it off. Highly recommend, especially since the butterfly keyboard on the newer Macs are prone to failure from dust and dirt.

Adhesive strip peeling, keyboard covers is warping
There are two adhesive strips that are supposed to keep the keyboard cover in place. The two strips are peeling off and the cover moves around when typing. Also, the cover has seemed to warp and does not fit snug around all the keys. I find it odd that the cover has warped. I rarely type on the MacBook keyboard as I use an external wireless keyboard 90% off the time. I haven't washed the cover, nor placed it in any extreme temperature conditions. I've previously owned a moshi keyboard cover for my late 2011 MacBook Pro which is still in great condition under heavy use for many years. It's very unfortunate that this one has not held up in a matter of less than 2 months. I'm hoping the seller will send a replacement in order to see if I received a defective cover. Until then, I will have to recommend others to stay away from this cover and try an alternative as Moshi may not the best one for your MacBook.

!Moshi keyboard protector works very well and has for over 6-years...Ergo, I bought a new one
Moshi makes a great keyboard protector that is totally transparent! I'd purchased one for my prior laptop/MacBook Pro in 2012. It lasted over 6 years. It allowed me to receive more than the quoted price I'd been offered prior to its inspection by the purchaser. Obviously, I bought a new Moshi clear-guard for my new laptop. It's working well.

Perfect!
I just received this keyboard cover and it is a perfect fit! I am using it on my late 2016 13โ MBP. I especially love that the cover 2 adhesive strips to keep it from flipping all over. Evidently the cover is washable. I have heard that it will warp over time, I will have to wait to see but for now it meets my needs.

Moshi keyboard cover...great product!
Great product. Fits my 2017 MacBook Pro 15 in. with touch bar perfectly. It stays affixed to the keyboard with the two invisible adhesive strips with no slipping & sliding. Very satisfied with product.

Great product; I'm happy with it
I think the price could have been around 900-1200 but due to the lack of competition; we have to buy it at a premium. That being said; great product. Sticks perfectly to the keyboard of my 2018 15 inch MacBook Pro with Touch Bar (as it has two mildly adhesive lines that make sure it never slips; and I am a programmer so I type on this 24/7). Ease of use: I used the Macbook without the cover for around a week before I got this; and given that I never really look at the keyboard while typing; the transition wasn't disorienting. I was still able to type with the same speed and accuracy. Felt no tangible difference in feedback. Touch bar can be used perfectly; it does not cover TouchID so fingerprints work too. Quality: As great as a material this thin can be. No complains about it being flimsy or anything. As long as I'm using this MacBook, no matter how many years; it seems like a product that won't have to be replaced. Note: It says "moshi" above the space bar the way "command" or "option" is written on keys; that branding could have been avoided. I mean we're purchasing something on a premium price way more than its worth; the least they could do is not make us wear their brand; but not really a cause of complain.

great, matte finish
I used a moshi keyboard guard on my previous older macbook, and when I got my new MBP13 with touch bar, I had initially tried to order a moshi keyboard guard but none were available on Amazon, so I ordered another top rated slicone one instead. The silicone one although was cheaper and came with 2 in a package, it did not last at all. Within several months of usage, the silicone stretched and whenever i tried to type it would start to slide off and I would have to constantly put it pack to its proper alignment. These silicone ones didn't cover the touch bar either. I have now ordered a moshi one since it is now sold on Amazon and i am SO PLEASED. 1) this moshi one covers the touch bar, 2) i love the moshi's matte finish, 3) the moshi one isn't silicone, it's kind of like a hard plastic that's flexible so it can last to typage and won't stretch over time (my previous macbook was from 2010 and it has last since then). The moshi one is more expensive, but it is very worth it. It also comes with 2 sticky stripes that you can stick to your macbook if you want it to not slide as much too. Very nice attention to detail.

Outstanding. Beats any silicone skin hands down.
PROS: It adheres to the body of your computer. Once it's on, you can barely tell it's there. It's as close to invisible as any skin you could hope to buy. It dampens the sounds of the MacBook Pro keyboard a little bit so it helps make the typing experience a little better. It's also the only skin I can find that covers the Touch Bar as well; no other skin offers any Touch Bar protection. CONS: Pricey; about 4-5X the cost of a silicone skin. While it offers some improvement in the typing experience, a Silicone cover definitely improves the typing experience much more (the higher key cap means it creates more key travel and a softer key stroke). I wish the adhesive was on the edges of the cover as opposed to just through the middle; I'd feel better about having the top and bottom attached to the machine as well. Overall, great product. You won't regret it. Looks and works fantastic. Easy 5 stars.

Fits keyboard well but very expensive for what it is
This moshi keyboard cover is much thinner than the last one I had which means it lifts off the keyboard if your fingers are sweaty. There are two teeny sticky strips that hold it down to the keyboard but stuff still gets under it anyway. I have to constantly blow on the keyboard to get the dust from under the cover. The rubber/plastic material has quickly turned opaque after only one month of use and looks terrible against the dark keyboard. The previous Moshi keyboard cover was much better quality. I would have paid half of what I paid for it.
