Garden State - Music From The Motion Picture

One of the best soundtracks ever! So happy they released it on vinyl.

Got it pretty quickly. Listen to it when it arrived. Sounded great! So Happy!

Was sent the 2-album version the second time and had low expectations. However, to my surprise, it was clean and lacked the static & pops that plagued the first shipment. Happy with my purchase and am thrilled to add this terrific album to my collection.I bought the 180 gram 2-album version of this soundtrack. Unfortunately, there's just too much background noise and pops for it to be as enjoyable as it should be. It's not consistent and appears only in spots, but it's really obvious and new vinyl should not sound like this. For reference, I've got several albums that are 40+ years old that sound cleaner. I'm going to try the single album version and will post another update after I get a chance to hear it.

For those of you familiar with Zach Braff (of Scrubs fame), this was one of his independent films. The album won a Grammy for best soundtrack and the music selection is phenomenal. This review is for the vinyl album. In one word: exceptional. Audio quality wise the album sounds fantastic. My wife and I A/B'd the Coldplay "Parachutes" vinyl (Don't Panic) and the soundtrack's cut of the same song. There is absolutely no comparison. I remember a few years back when I received the Parachutes album, how disappointed I was in the mastering. The album sounded like the vinyl had been cut from an mp3. As we were demo'ing it last night, my wife actually said the Coldplay recording "hurt her brain." When you play the soundtrack, you let out a sigh of relief...bliss.There's also a nice letter written on the sleeve from Zach on which he reveals that he got permission from each of the artists to put the vinyl together. Buy this album. It has great music, is mastered well, and sounds great. I'm ordering a second copy now because I predict this album is going to be really expensive five years from now..

I love this album so I had to have it on vinyl. It’s 2 discs though so if you’re one of those people who doesn’t like switching the record over every 15 minutes I’d stick to Spotify. I think the album could have been all on one disc but so it goes.

This album does not include all the songs shown on the back of the album. It only includes 7 songs. Which was disappointing to realize. This was a significant album to me when the soundtrack was first released. The album cover was misleading.

This came quick and on time, I’m really happy with it!

I bought this as a Christmas gift for a now ex-boyfriend. He loved it. But he's stupid, so take that with a grain of salt.

Love this soundtrack. Is amazing movie and on vinyl it sounds great. Has small hidden gems inside on the covers.

The discs themselves were in great shape and play well. I knew the soundtrack well so I knew what to expect sound wise. However, the LP was shipped in a flimsy plastic bag as opposed to a cardboard mailer like every single other LP I've gotten from Amazon. This lead to the album jacket having a crease in the 2 bottom corners which instantly devalues the LP as a collectors item. I'm very disappointed in this because I only order LPs from Amazon because of the careful shipping methods that I have witnessed in the past.

It’s a brand new record and one of the songs keeps skipping. So disappointing!
