It takes a while for your pet to realize this warning pad keeps them cozy…especially stubborn cats. You know how they are. Once they feel the warmth, dogs and cats are on it all the time.

I bought this little crate pad 8 months ago and I decided that it was time to give a review because after constant use and weekly washing it still looks almost brand new! It's perfect to line the crate with, soft and warm but not very thick so I have a soft plushy throw blanket in there as well for my dogs to make their own little "den" with.I foster animals and many a dog has slept on and peed on this pad. While my pet beds and blankets have been chewed and torn this pad never gets chewed up, or if it's being chewed then it's holding up great because I can never find any evidence of chewing! I bought the grey and as you can see in the picture it's pretty much the same color if a little lighter after many a washing. Also washes out really well as after it goes through the laundry it smells great again, doesn't have that musty old pet smell that some of their things get and never seem to lose. Highly recommend! (I originally bought this one for a smaller crate but my current foster dog has a bigger crate which is why it looks too small in the picture. It is true to its size and seems to do the job just fine in the bigger space as well!)

My dog doesn't use a crate, but I wanted something to keep her warm in the winter. I've washed the pad several times. The first couple of times I washed in the washer and hung to dry. The last time I washed it and tossed it in the dryer. It laundered perfectly and still looks new. Quality is great ... highly recommend.

To our suprise...we found a momma cat and a kitten in our neighbors garage. Well, they have names now! Lol Kiki and Sox! It has been getting pretty cold here in Texas and I saw the ad for the self heating pad so I thought I would give it a try. The price was right too. I was skeptical but I now can say this is one awesome pad! Kiki just had litter of kittens...suprise again! I have been so worried about the new kittens staying warm so I put it in the kennel. I covered the kennel with a couple of blankets to keep the wind out too. I stuck my arm inside when they were all inside nursing and to my suprise it was so warm inside! I couldn't believe it! It was about 49 degrees outside and the kennel was toasty warm...amazing! I'm sold on this pad. Don't know if the kennel being completely covered helped it retain her heat but my mind is more at ease now...no cold kitties! It's soft, fits nicely in the kennel and is machine washable as well.I will be purchasing another for Sox! Love this pad!

I use these in the K&N I heated outdoor houses for my community cats. They work well for my area since there are few days below freezing. I make sure they are u set a porch or other covered area. I have also put them in large styrofoam coolers made into warming shelters.

I had another brand that I used in my outside cat condo, he didn't use it much when it got really cold but opted for his straw lined box instead. He stays on the new pad in his kitty condo now in really cold weather.

The cats like to sit on this. It fits in one of the carriers, so that’s good for cold weather. For now, sitting in a windowsill and getting daily use. Very soft.

These work great for keeping our outside cat warm in the New York winter. Even in sub freezing temperatures our shed cat is warm in her bed. She lays on this and it holds her body heat. Excellent product, we have 3 for our 2 cats.

Puppy loves it. Washes beautifully. Can’t ask for more.

I can't say enough about how wonderful these self-warming crate pads are! We have 5 of them now because they are so great we keep buying more.Our cats LOVE them. They are soft and cozy and they must work (you can't really tell without laying on them). We live in a very cold house and they have been a godsend.They machine wash like a dream. I never expected them to still look and feel so great after many, many washes but they look and feel practically new still. Do your heat-seeking kitties a favour and get a couple!

Don’t be misled by how thin this is. Yes. It’s very very thin. But oh. em. gee. It is SO warm. My cat absolutely loves it. I tested it by using it on my toes inside my blanket. I could feel the heat radiate back at me after a while.

if you look at the ad the pad s look like they are a size but actually they are very thin and are meant to fit the smallest grate not the metal ones Very disappointed

It doesn't get warm AT ALL. I hoaxed my cat to sleep on it and after he slept on it for a good hour, it was still not warm. He hasn't slept on it once since, super disappointing product.
