Perfect for Clone Hero
Worked out of box. The only problem is that when the minus button is pressed at the same time asstrumming up, the guitar disconnects. So, you shouldn't use this for star power. In addition, the tilt isn't as sensitive as I'd likeThe left hand buttons were still out of box and difficult to play, but now they're good

Excellent GH Guitar
This guitar is fantastic! It reminds me of the old days when I had my Gh3 guitar and that one worked so well and felt so comfortable playing with it. This a perfect guitar if you are looking to play casually or even if you are looking to hit every note on a song. This guitar has those capabilities. Strongly recommend.

Do not buy, breaks from…not…using it
Had to move houses 3 times over the course of 3~ years, so for a long time I was not really using it. Just started giving it a try again, changed out all the batteries, made sure the fob was plugged in right, and the color keys physically don’t react on the computer. The pins are cleaned with alcohol wipes and dried just to make sure and the computer picks up the guitar itself but refuses to work. That’s what I get for buying a guitar that’s brand sounds so off brand that No one has heard of it before.

Works well, but janky implementation. Doesn't pick up as a "controller" uses keyboard binds.
Controller worked great, the Whammy bar works and so tilting for Star Power. It's strange that the buttons on the controller are bound to keyboard keys, and this is why I wouldn't give it a 5 star.Green is "V", Red is "C", Yellow is "X", Blue is "Z" and Orange is "Left Shift".What ends up happening then, is pressing orange too many times will activate the "sticky keys" popup.Playing with the guitar will sometimes cause overlays to pop up because Orange was bound to shift which is a common key for overlay popups.Definitely think it would have been a lot better to bind the keys to asdfg. Also beware, the instructions mention that using a second guitar requires a change of settings, but this change makes it so that the strum bar is not supported in guitar hero. Really strange, so beware if you plan to buy 2 or use this controller for a second player. The controller says it has a separate mode for Rock band, and Guitar hero. I'm not sure why you would need two separate modes for that.

Works well, easy to connect
Guitar connected to PC, and didn't need anything extra downloaded. It comes with directions on how to bind the keys in clone hero, and within minutes I was playing. Some scratches and scuffs on the front if the guitar itself were the only issues I have had with it. And those were minor enough that I didn't feel like docking a star. Been having a blast with it.

Honestly blown away!
I was very skeptical about buying this bc of the reviews but for the price I just had to see for my self, I was mostly seeing issues with mapping buttons or disconnecting while playing or while trying to activate star power. Well y’all must be throwing this joker into the wall or something because both my girlfriend and I have tried to make it disconnect and it refuses. Second the mapping of the buttons, i can see where some could get confused because it doesn’t tell me that the controller (guitar) is connected, all i simply did was map the guitar to the keyboard controls instead of the controller section. Third, if your a hard/expert player like my self that likes metallica, and other really hard bands you might feel like you went through the most intense physical therapy session in your life, due to how stiff the buttons are at first but luckily they ease up over time or if your a player that changes out buttons this won’t be an issue for you. Hopefully this review will help you in finding an affordable but yet effective guitar! I will definitely be buying another in the future!

Worked Great For PC Clone Hero
Has a USB dongle, was pretty easy to connect and use for Clone Hero. I had to map the buttons in the game settings manually, but it's pretty sturdy and standard.
