Strudy enough to stretch to fit a wider opening waste basket and strong enough to not break if the bag is really full. I use these to line containers for kitty poop and have yet to have one break!

Bought these “bags” for my compostables. I like and have used other repurpose things, when my other usually compostable trashbags were out of stock, thought I would try these.They rip like tissue paper when you try to get them off the roll. I have ripped them in half down the center even when I im trying to be very delicate. They generally don’t make it to the trash can in one piece and I have to double or triple bag them. We currently use them for all of the little trash cans and to pick up dog poop and whatever else we can think of, but becuase they are effective, but becuase we want to get rid of them.

These compost well but don’t leak in our compost bin in the kitchen. They do get moisture through but don’t leak. You can’t let them sit inside the compost bin for a long time which is common sense. With reasonable use they are wonderful and I love that they break down so well. We use an open air compost system and they do great.

My state just added composting as a new initiative to be more green. My apartment complex provided the bins and some educational materials and I took to Amazon to find the bags. I had heard that other compostable bags were flimsy. These are NOT! These are great, came at a great price and make the experience much easier to manage. I am happy to do my part and these bags help! I will absolutely be buying these again.

I've purchased similar type bags that leak. These are good.

These bags are so poorly made. For every bag I manage to tear off the role, I sacrifice at least 2 others in the process. They tear so easily that I usually rip them along the length of the bag instead of the bottom perforation, rendering them useless. Forget discarding anything more solid than tissues or paper towels in them. I threw away a newspaper yesterday and it tore the bag. So much for trying to go greener. If this is the path, we are doomed. Now what am I going to do with the remaining 2.5 rolls? Oh never mind, when I have to sacrifice three to get one, they’ll only last another month!

These are extremely thin. Just having a few items in the bag causes them to stretch and start to tear. We are now double-bagging everything just to make sure it doesn't break while we're handling them. We won't buy these again.

I like the bags. They are easy to use.
