Great little camera
I read other not so fabulous reviews on this camera but anyone that can put a button a light a camera, a speaker, a memory card and it it weighs only 8 gโs my hats off to them! And it has easy instructions. I launched it with a D 12โ6 Estes rocket engine it recorded great sound and gave us easy to open USB PORT good pictures. you can always get better resolution with more expensive cameras, but this is a Great reliable I love it.

Great little camera, poor mount
Great unit! I don't know how they source it but it is cheaper than just about anything other than a terrible keychain camera and very compact/light. I had to order a second one because I forgot to secure the rubber band on the mount - gone. Be really careful with the mount or just DIY something.

Small, light, decent footage with sound
This little camera worked better than I expected. The sound is a nice feature. It is very small and light. It charges from usb. The resolution is only 1080p, but that is enough. The only thing that would really make it perfect is the addition of 120fps. Because it is designed for a rocket, it would be nice to have a fast frame rate for slow motion playback.

replacement failed too.
The camera was on and recording when I put the rocket on the launch pad rod but appeared to stop recording when it was launched. Happened a couple of times. Our rocket club uses a wireless RF system from launch control to our pads. Not sure if camera electronics can handle this. Anyone else have this problem? I returned this one and got a replacement. Same problems but tried just turning it on at home with no interference. It would stay on for about 3 seconds and turn on. It was fully charged when I tried this. I am looking elsewhere for a rocket camera.

simple and solid rocket camera
Strapped the camera to the side of an Aerotech Cheetah and launched on an F67. I used plenty of masking tape with the tyvek strap used by the camera. The rocket took off like a scalded cat, spinning for the entire boost phase. Probably due to the camera on the side of the rocket. The camera stayed firm and the video is attached. The camera stays in a holder with a rubber band. At the end of the video the camera slid "up" due to the landing impact. This is the cause of the black border suddenly appearing.
