Perfect Bookshelf for small space
This is a solid piece of furniture and is exactly as shown and described. I elected to paint all pieces before putting together. I checked all screws, washers, etc. Advice: sand all pieces. No need to prime if using best quality paint. As for instructions - Do step 1 and 2 together, connect the ledgers in place before connecting the Top and Bottom - otherwise, you will not be able to fit the dowels in place. I did not screw the shelves to the metal supports yet, but will once I am sure where I want to place them based on size of books.

I now have four bookcases in this style and I love them. Solid wood, so sturdy, takes a stain well and paint too. The price was very reasonable and the shipping was great. I took it out of the box and put it together myself no problem. I love these bookcases and may order more.

Good-looking and durable
I like the natural, unfinished wood of the bookcase, and the crisscross side design. The bottom shelf has a little less height to the next shelf up, so I couldn't stand up some of my books, as I needed the maximum height of the other shelves.

This product is overpriced
This product is overpriced considering it's a small bookshelf (more reasonable price would be closer to $40-50).I bought 2 of these units which were fairly easy to assemble & all parts were in boxes. I have several items from International Concepts that I absolutely love. I like the fact that their products are made of solid wood. However, I wouldn't buy this product again as shelves are not very sturdy unless you use wall anchors, and the shelves won't fit taller books unless you remove 1 of the shelves.

Great look/construction
Love the look and the sturdiness! Just wish the shelves were a little taller so it could fit more than just my smaller books. Otherwise, perfect!
