Matisse pam carrikers mixed media adhesive 250ml

I'm not too impressed.
A very expensive small jar of 'adhesive' (all acrylic mediums can be used as adhesives in mixed media to some extent if consideration is given to the consistency of the medium in relation to the thickness/irregularity of the object to be adhered) with an added 'perfumey' smell. The smell alone is enough to put me off as I have allergies & am sensitive to perfumes. Yes, it has 'tooth' but less tooth than Liquitex clear gesso which can also be used as an 'adhesive' for paper elements in mixed media journaling & still provide a surface than can accept further media.I imagine it's so very expensive as this is manufactured in Australia & not widely distributed in the states. It's not a horrible product (if you aren't bothered by the odor!) but I can buy clear gesso here in the U.S. so much more cheaply to use for adhering paper elements in my art journal. For paintings on board supports, I usually use gel mediums to adhere elements.I won't buy this again.

I like this
I do like it and I'll definitely purchase it again when I run out. It works well as long as you let it dry overnight.

this stuff is great. not sticky but makes great adhesion where you want it. this is a small container for the amount needed for it to work properly. best to apply to the support as well as the attachment. this makes it quite expensive to use, so i use it only when necessary.

Very nice!
I've been a fan of gesso, and still use it, but when working on mixed media canvas designs, this adhesive medium works even better. It's easy to work with, and clean up is easy too. It's a smoother medium to adhere paper elements, and also works nicely with stencils, and adding texture. Nice find!

loved this!
Really nice adhesive, did not have a very 'glue' like texture so I wasn't sure if it would do the job, but it is actually really lovely to work with!

I love how it dries matte with a tooth so it can accept other media without a problem! Nice and thin so it spreads well. Exactly what I was hoping for!
