Excellent Product - Highly Recommended!
I purchased the DONGYANG PERFORMANCE Infrared Red Light PT Lamp with Stand initially as a gift for my grandmother, and she found it to be very effective. I must say, this product has exceeded my expectations in every way. I am compelled to share my incredible experience with this infrared red light PT lamp. Last week, I injured my lower back, and the pain was unbearable. I borrowed the lamp from my grandmother and used it for three consecutive days. The results were remarkable! Not only did my pain subside, but the bruising from the strain on my back also disappeared quickly after using the lamp. I am extremely satisfied with this product, which is a game changer. So I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking an effective and convenient solution for pain relief and healing.

Well made
The media could not be loaded. I bought this light to test on muscle soreness and fatigue after weight training. The product over all function and build quality is good. Its built well and the light bulb seems to be high quality. The unit puts out a decent amount of heat with the red light which seems to help reduce some soreness -but I am not sure if it is just the heat or the actual red light wavelengths helping reduce the pain. None the less it does help reduce muscle pain some and overall seems to be built well. I would recommend trying it out for yourself for this purpose.

Powerful red light therapy lamp - high irradiance and dual spectrum light.
This is a powerful red light therapy lamp, using an 18 LED bulb with 54W power. It is a dual spectrum bulb, with 9 of the LEDs at 660nm (red light) and 9 LEDs at 850nm (near infrared). The dual/multi spectrum red light devices are the best in my opinion, because there are distinct benefits at each of the different red light spectrums, and by combining them you're ensuring that you maximize the benefits. NIR penetrates much deeper than red light, and the red light helps optimize your mitochondrial function. (Note, the 9 LEDs at 850nm will look like they aren't working - but they are. that is just the nature of infrared light, you can't see it with your eyes.).The irradiance: (based on other 54w 18 LED bulbs I've researched)141 mW/cm² @ 0inch123 mW/cm² @ 3inch98 mW/cm² @ 6inchThis is a best case scenario irradiance, but anything >100mw/cm2 is more than enough to be effective. Since this is a single bulb light therapy device, it is best suited for one body part at a time. Ideally, you don't want to exceed 6 inches distance from the bulb, because the lower irradiance, the less strong the light exposure is and less deep the light penetration will be. At <6 inches, a 15 minute treatment time per spot should be more than enough. At skin contact, you may want to shorten the treatment time to 10 minutes or less. Basically the further from the lamp, the longer the treatment time will need to be to get a high enough dosage of light to be effective. The advantage of being further from the light source is you can treat a larger surface area at once - but just be aware you need to remain under the light for longer to get a high enough dosage. The light:It works great. Comes almost entirely assembled, all you have to do is screw in the lightbulb. It doesn't get very hot even after leaving it on for an hour. The light is extremely bright. I try not to look into it directly, but I don't bother with protective goggles or anything like that. If I treat my face, I put on an eye mask (but not the one included. The included eye mask works fine, but doesn't block light as well as some of my other eye masks. The tripod stand for the lamp is great, super adjustable, and has way more height than I will ever need.Issues:I wish this light had a flexible gooseneck type design. The tripod design only allows it to go up and down - if it could move forward and backwards so I could use it more easily on my bed, then it would be perfect. But for now I use the light by standing in front of it or sitting on a stool or the edge of my bed. It is a great introductory light therapy lamp, quite powerful and I am very satisfied. I've been using it for muscle soreness/gym recovery, joint health, and testosterone boosting effects - and have had good results so far.

Not really convenient
Red light technology really does work to lessen the pain of minor injuries and such. I thought that this light might be a good way to cover larger body areas. The problem is that it's not really easy to position or "aim." Also, while the listing picture shows a woman with the light more or less aimed directly at her face with no mask over her eyes, this light comes with an eye mask and warns not to use it without. Also, some other lights I've tried have timed treatments, so you can use them optimally; this one just has on and off.

Lots of Benefits! 🫶🏻
The media could not be loaded. There are many unproven benefits of Red Light Therapy that I thought I would try it. The unit its self is nice and setup was easy. Essentially it is a tripod with a light bulb fixture and red light bulb. There are many machines that target just one area but this can be used anywhere. I primarily got this to see if it would help with inflammation and pain in my lower back after an accident. It does seem to help but I have been doing other things in conjunction with it so it is hard to tell. I also plan to use it for face treatments to see if it will help generate collagen production and in the winter try it for SADs ( winters can be rough here). I like that I can swap out the bulb once it burns out and I don’t have to buy a whole other unit. I can also use a standard bulb and use it as a lamp while not using it for red light therapy and use the tripod for my camera so it serves other purposes. I think this is one of those things it will take consistency and monitoring to see if it really works. I can tell you this, it is relaxing and gives me a reason to stop and rest.
