Pricey but nice
It's expensive, but it smells great and works well, so I can't complain! You get a nice sized jar for the price, and it only takes a little to feel the difference. It's textured and gives a good scrubbing sensation. I can feel it really getting in there and improving my skin - both in texture and moisture. It also smells wonderful; aromatic and spa-like. I'm sensitive to smells, and this one actually didn't bother me at all. It's definitely a stronger smell, similar to what you'd experience while getting a high end massage or similar treatment. I really enjoyed it. The end result is softer, smoother skin and a fresh smell, so each time using it feels special. Not something I'd use every day - and you're not supposed to - but I'd definitely use this to treat myself sometimes.

Softens the skin, exfoliates BUT leaves it’s horrendous scent behind
I have heard about this line and was interested in giving it a try. I enjoy using body scrub and my skin always seems to be happier when I do use it.The body scrub comes in a luxurious looking glass jar. It’s wide and thick. It’s nicely labeled and very attractive. The scrub has a pleasant consistency. I will say that it does have a perfect amount of grit for removing dead skin. It sufficiently moisturizes afterwards as well.Unfortunately, the body scrub, in my opinion, smells horrible. The first scent I pick up on is a scent of stink bugs (or cilantro.) Followed by a hint of mint. Finally I get the tiniest whiff of citrus. Once added to water and worked in the skin the other scents emerge. It’s overpowering. The mint is the faintest of the scents. The citrus becomes fairly strong but the stink bug scent is the most prominent. It is unfortunately the one that is left on your skin as well. The scent stays which is a problem for me since it is so unpleasant. I cannot stand the smell of this stuff. It’s unfortunate since I really do like the softness and the moisture it gives my skin. The scrub component is excellent.Because the scent is so terrible I cannot use this scrub. It really is a nice exfoliant and moisturizer for the skin. I think it gives my skin a youthful (and stinky) glow.

Love This Salt Scrub
I use a salt scrub like this all the time. I like this one, both the quality of the salt, and the added moisturizing oils. I have a nylon back-scrubbing brush for the shower, I apply a good pinch of product to wet bristles, and use it pretty much all over my body. It’s excellent for exfoliating sun-dried skin cells, which are then sluiced off in warm water, leaving my skin feeling tingly, fresh and moisturized. The salts are high quality – Himalayan Pink, Dead Sea, Celtic Sea, N Zealand solar, and Epsom salts. The oils are moringa, rose hip, and organic extra virgin olive oil. On top of that, you get a blend of essential oils, including rosemary, grapefruit and peppermint. The scent is botanical, but not too strong, unlike some other products I’ve used.I like this scrub, but I will say, $45 for 6.7 fl. oz. is pricey. However, it is good quality.

Like the Product, Hate the Smell
I am sucker for packaging. It is the first impression of a product. The goop G.Tox 5 Salt Detox Body Scrub comes in a nice glass jar and the label is attractive. First impressions were positive.I used the product for a few weeks. There were some positive aspects of this scrub. It has a nice consistency and applied well to the skin. There is a good mixture of liquid to salt grains, and it isn't too dry where it just clumps up or too wet that it is sloppy. I was pleased with the exfoliation I achieved using this and it left my skin soft. It was probably one of the best scrubs I have ever used, except for the smell. The scent is supposed to be rose, but it is more like compost. I don't have a sensitive nose, but this was horrible. Even my spouse came into the shower and asked if I just used the bathroom and didn't turn on the fan.

Truly Magical
Wow!When I first saw the premium price, I was skeptical of how truly magical a scrub can be but I am so glad I was proven wrong. The scrub smells magical - light citrus and just fresh. It scoops easily and feels luxurious as you exfoliate, but the absolute best part and completely unexpected part is when you rinse off your skin truly does feel moisturized! As if you applied lotion on in the shower that doesn’t rub off somehow. But in no way shape or form does it feel gunky or like you have film on your skin. Your skin just really feels moisturized. Even my dry calloused feet feel like I just came back from a spa!Highly recommend.

Smells very salty
This has a strong salt smell. Personally, I'd prefer something more floral or citrus. The salt "grit" dissolves pretty quickly - almost before I'm really done scrubbing. It does leave a nice moisture barrier behind after rinsing. All in all, not my favorite scrub, but not bad.

I love the rose scent!
This goop G.Tox 5 Salt Detox Body Scrub is a rose-scented miracle in my shower. It has helped to get rid of those small red bumps on my legs after I shave. It makes my skin so soft and smooth that I can skip lotion after my shower. I am loving all of the Goop products that I have tried!
