SimicooMetal Cell Phone Case with Screen Protector for Samsung S22 Ultra (Blue, Military Rugged Heavy Duty Shockproof)

Here's my initial review after using the product for about a day:Protection: +++++Aesthetics: +++++User Friendliness: ++++Water/Dust Resistance: ++Build Quality: +++Value: +++++Starting off I removed the magnets on both the kickstand and case as they WILL create an area on the screen where the S-Pen will not work, Not sure why this was not noticed before production but not a huge deal only downer was the silicon tore when trying to remove the magnet from it. I then glued the kickstand to the metal so it would not move, this covered up the torn silicon and made the kickstand unusable, but the kickstand was cheap and would have broken anyways, not a big deal. Finally, I carefully removed the glass screen protector as I had my own and wanted to be able to use the fingerprint scanner, I was able to get it off without breaking it so it is a good backup.Now onto the review. I have owned a similar case to this a while back and for the most part this is the same just for a different device. These things are tanks. They will make your phone signifigantly larger and heavier but I personally like this. This case is very stylish if you like an industrial look and the aluminum casing is of very high quality. As others mentioned the silicon S-pen cover is pretty sad, it definitely was an afterthought, but I am glad to see the charger cover is both well made and plenty big to accomodate wider chargers. Nice. Not a huge fan of the screws, it is very hard to tell how tight they should be and I could easily see someone stripping them by going too tight, my advice would be to tighten it till you can squeeze the two metal plates together and see very little play in the metal (you should not see the screw move up or down when squeezing the metal plates together). Hopefully I do not have to dissasemble often as I'm sure ill strip a screw eventually, they did provide extra screws and two tools to remove them which is nice as the allen key is already stripping. I can see dust getting in this case fairly easy and it is definitely not waterproof, but the S22 Ultra is IP68 so that isn't a huge deal, would have been nice if it was tho. You can buy the one piece camea lens protectors on Amazon as they do fit nicely under this case, the camera lens 'protector' on this case is literally just a this sheet of plastic so definetely reccomend getting a actual lens cover to go under the plastic. Might also just remove that plastic cover (it just pops out) if dust starts getting trapped under it. Haven't tested wireless charging or phone calls yet but I expect some echo behavior due to the thickness of the case. Sound does sound a bit muffled coming out of the case but not horrible. My big concern will be overheating as I previously used the Spigen cooling case with the hexagon patterns on it and my phone overheated in that so I imagine it might be even worse in this, but we shall see. Either way overheating on this phone is a huge issue so I am expecting it with any case, hopefully the manufacturers claim that overheating is not an issue with this case holds true to some extent at least. As for protection this thing is about as good as it gets. The metal and silicon will pretty much make it impossible to damage the sides or back of the phone, but do keep in mind since this case will make your phone signifigantly heavier, dropping your phone will result in it hitting the ground with more force. The tradeoff here is the screen and camera will be in greater danger if they are hit on a rock or other sharp object as the phone will hit them with more force. So definitely use a screen protector and camera lens protector as the screen is more prone to damage due the increased weight of the phone. This case does have a nice raised lip around the camera and screen so you should have no issues if it is dropped on a flat surface.Overall I say 5 stars, while it does have it's isssues and is by no means perfect, for $24 it is still an excellent case and as long as it doesn't amplify the overheating problems with this phone, I plan on keeping it. Oh did I mention it looks great:)

This is the second time I’ve purchased this case. It’s definitely a good case as in it keeps the phone safe from damage, but the case screen does crack fairly easily. I would still recommend for the value, just know it’s semi disposable.

I have had this case on my phone for over a year. The first one broke in 2 days and i got a free replacement. The second one lasted a year and I just ordered a new one. This has literally kept my phone safe after dropping it 1000 times. I am hard on phones and this case has truly protected my phone! It is large and heavy, but it will save your phone! Trust me, if you have a samsung ultra, then buy this case!

case is well built and though there are a couple of things im not happy with relating to the case i can say for sure its way better then having my phone damaged for sure. especially for someone who is as accident prone as i am. only things that i am disappointed with as far as the product goes is the screws dont seem to like staying in even after tightening them as tight as i can and the plastic stand ended up breaking on one of the pivot points. the other thing that is also disappointing with it is the paint began peeling off of it on the back. other than that the product did exactly as advertised and prevented the phone from getting damaged

Great case. However there are 2 issues I love noticed after using it for a few weeks. The first is fingerprint reader does not work whether I add multiple of the same fingerprints. The second, the kickstand goes from left to right meaning you can't effectively use the volume keys as the phone sits on them. But all together great case my job is very rough on anything I might have in my pockets phone included but it's stood the test, lastly the paint flakes in pockets covering the screen in black flakes (as I have the black version) the metal has been exposed, might be due to my job that makes me sweat alot but not sure I think the paint could've been better but all in all a VERY sturdy product!

(update: from 4 stars to 3. I just noticed the paint on the backside is horrible. Very cheap. I grazed back of it with my nail and the paint just easily scraped off like a scratch off lottery ticket.) The phone case is just okay. I used to have one just like it but this one is better. My only issue with it is that I wish the screen protection came as a separate part instead of mounted onto the top part of the case. Because when I tighten the screws and the whole thing is put together there are like blotches on my phone due to the pressure. And I know for a fact it's not from any liquid or marks because I cleaned both my phone screen and the protector screen very thoroughly before I put it on. It's like a rainbowish effect on the front of my screen off to the side by the middle left screw and the middle right. (Right sides not so bad. House want to mention you don't really notice it when your screen phone is on mostly you notice it when your screen is off or if there's black parts of the screen. but when I take pressure off of it it disappears. I can easily pop the screen protector off, but there would be no way to put it back on. So I'm not sure if I want to do that yet. My last metal phone case with no screen protector lasted me 6 years with no issues scratches or damage but now that I have a screen protector I don't know if I want to take that chance again. I do very highly recommend this case but I wanted to give fair warning as to the issue I have.

This is a really good case. My husband uses it on all his phones. The only downfall is that it seems we have to buy a new one every 3+ months. The case protects the phone very well, but the front glass seems to break within a few months, and we have to buy a new one. YES, he is fairly hard on phones working on job sites, but overall, the phone case is perfect for an outdoors-working guy or girl that needs extra protection.

The case is great and all but there is one tiny problem the black paint is peeling off to where it's almost bare metal
