Basco Deluxe Framed Sliding Tub Door, Fits 56-59 inch Opening, Obscure Glass, Silver Finish

I just finished installing this door in our kids bathroom. The hardware and materials seem to be high quality and have greatly enhanced the bathroom's look. The only knock is for the instructions for install. There aren't many steps but I believe the instructions could be a little more clear, perhaps with more pictures. Overall, I am completely satisfied.

First one arrived shattered. Amazon shipped a replacement very quickly, writhing the next week. Difficult assembly of your opening is smaller than 59”. Our opening is 56” and frame needed to be cut to size to fit. Instructions were not easy to follow. Be sure to have 2 people during installation to make process less difficult.Otherwise, once installed, very nice product, at a much more reasonable price than others on the market. Bronze color is very nice. Not too dark, not to light. Doors move smoothly and quietly.

I installed this a week ago by myself. It took a few hours. It is nice looking but it is not the highest quality. The Koehler doors I have on my other shower are much better heavier and sturdier.Overall though. I’m happy with how it turned out. The instructions are not the easiest to follow, and parts were loose in the box. The first door shipped was broken and wasn’t delivered, fortunately another was sent right away. The Amazon customer service agent was helpful. If you’re not super handy, you may want to hire someone to install this.

What’s not to like with this “made in the USA” product?Ship time was fast for such a large object. Great value for the money, very clear instructions, and it came with touch up paint for any installation mishaps. Such a nice thought!I would love to see a bottom guide piece that was bigger (longer to encompass more of the door) than the one that is provided. I feel like that would make the doors a little less wobbly.All in all very pleased!

Looks beautiful! Kids love having it in their bathroom. Opens the room up. No longer worry about my floor getting flooded when kids shower. Great for bathing dogs. They can't jump out now. Doors were relatively easy to install. They move very smoothly. I only have 2 issues with the doors. 1- They have plastic towel bars. They don't look bad though. 2- One of the pre drill hole sets didn't line up on both sides of one of the doors. I just drilled a new one.

Very well packed. Fairly easy to install. Hardest part was folding down the bottom of the uprights at the bottom to fit the curve of the fiberglass tub. Make sure you have a good metal file. One other hint - don’t completely fasten both uprights until you slip the top rail over the upright. This was not very clear in the instructions. Other than that if you take your time the installation should be fairly straightforward. Nice product at a fair price.

Our old shower door fell out of the track and shattered at my wife's feet while in the tub!We lived with a shower curtain for the next year which I find cheap and creepy.I ordered this product and in a few hours had it installed. It looks elegant and has dressed up our bathroom significantly.We bought the obscured glass because it looks better than clear - and it does just that!I would definitely recommend this product - either to someone who can do it him/herself like I did or with the help of an installer. Well worth the investment.

Never installed a shower door enclosure before.It took about three hours from start to finish.A file is needed for bottom and sides to fit tub shower three piece design.
