Review: A silent managed switch - A nice addition to my existing Unifi setup. It's the first of this type i've owned and I was pleased with the compact design and it's silent operation. Having it managed by the Unifi controller is also a nice addition. I plan to buy more of these as they're ideal for use in living spaces as they're totally silent. One point to note is that mine arrived with an EU power plug. Not a huge issue as I had spare cloverleaf cables anyway but it's a bit frustrating that you're not pre-warned of this. Just keep it in mind when ordering - you'll either need a replacement or a plug so you can snip the EU plug off and fit your own UK plug. ## Features - UbiQuiti - Switch ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B08MBRKG2Q | | Best Sellers Rank | 13,664 in Computers & Accessories ( See Top 100 in Computers & Accessories ) 82 in Network Switches | | Box Contents | Switch | | Brand | Ubiquiti | | Brand Name | Ubiquiti | | Case Material Type | Plastic | | Color | white | | Colour | white | | Compatible Devices | Desktop | | Compatible devices | Desktop | | Country of Origin | China | | Current Rating | 1 Amps | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 out of 5 stars 641 Reviews | | Data Transfer Rate | 1.5 Gigabits Per Second | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00810010071156, 08100100711560 | | Included components | Switch | | Interface | RJ45 | | Item Dimensions L x W x H | 16.4L x 10W x 3.2H centimetres | | Item Weight | 450 Grams | | Lower Temperature Rating | 1 Degrees Celsius | | Manufacturer | UbiQuiti | | Manufacturer Part Number | USW-Lite-8-PoE | | Model Number | USW-LITE-8-POE | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Ports | 8 | | Number of ports | 8 | | Platform | Not Machine Specific | | Product Warranty | 2 years | | Product dimensions | 16.4L x 10W x 3.2H centimetres | | Switch Type | DIP | | UPC | 810010071156 | | Unit Count | 1.0 count | | Upper Temperature Rating | 40 Degrees Celsius | | Voltage | 220 | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Ubiquiti - **Colour:** white - **Compatible devices:** Desktop - **Included components:** Switch - **Number of ports:** 8 ## Images ![Ubiquiti UniFi USW-LITE-8-POE - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/4108cVNn66S.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ State forward way to add POE for a small office / home network based on Ubiquiti products. *by A***. on 17 March 2026* Perfect addition to my small office network to provide POE for my Ubiquiti access points and manage from the ubiquiti network management. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A silent managed switch *by P***T on 1 August 2023* A nice addition to my existing Unifi setup. Worth it. *by G***Z on 24 August 2025* Really easy to integrate into unifi system. Replacement for a US8 switch following a lightning strike.. I was a bit concerned this wouldn’t be up to the same standard as the us8, but apart from the plastic casing( the us8 is metal), for me its just as good. Using all 4 poe ports to run access points with no poe budget issues. I actually prefer the activity lights on the front- the us8’s were on top- not good in a cabinet, so this is better. If you are hesitant to dive into the unifi system, do it- its well worth it, scalable and super easy too. I blocked insta the other evening to get the kids to do some housework. Worth every penny! ## Frequently Bought Together - Ubiquiti UniFi USW-LITE-8-POE - Ubiquiti UniFi U6+ Punto de Acceso RJ45 sin Inyector PoE - Ubiquiti UniFi Cloud Gateway Ultra --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.hu/products/421694757-ubiquiti-unifi-usw-lite-8-poe](https://www.desertcart.hu/products/421694757-ubiquiti-unifi-usw-lite-8-poe) --- *Product available on Desertcart Hungary* *Store origin: HU* *Last updated: 2026-10-09*
