Screams & Nightmares: The Films of Wes Craven
G**Y
Really good
A really good book that gives you an overview of the films of the late Wes Craven. Although most of the book is taken up by his creation of Freddy Krueger, and the Nightmare on Elm Street films, there is also good mention of the Scream franchise too. Not only did he direct all of the Scream films up to number 4, but he also created Ghost face. Although the book is barely 300 pages long, I also liked the chapter on his first film and most controversial one Last House in the Left too and why it had to be cut and why it was banned in the UK. Overall a great Homage to a great director. Rest in peace Wes Craven.
