I’ve used these adhesive stair treads in a little rental cottage as the stairs are painted wood so slippy and easily scratched. They arrived really quickly and are very easy to used. Also great value!!

I didn’t want to have to use stair treads as I love how the staircase looks without them, but due to the children and the 2 cats, I’ve had to choose relaxing when at home instead of cleaning up endless foot prints.They are extremely thin material but I think they definitely have dampened the sound of my house flip flops slapping against the bare wooden steps as I run up and down them. Somehow the 10 year old doesn’t run up and down them so manic anymore so maybe it’s had a positive psychological impact to be careful! HahahaI surprisingly love the look so much that I bought a second set for the second staircase.(Yes I wish they were cheaper but I wish everything was cheaper and currently feel everything is too expensive for what you get!!!)

Good value but once the dust gets under the edges they don’t restick sadly

These are very thin and I'd imagine won't last long on a set of well used stairs. Also the self adhesive pads are rubbish. They do not stickdown for long and could become quite dangerous. Buy some strong glue to stick them down.

Lovely colour etc, but a lot thinner than I thought.
