Amazon Basics Non-Applicator Tampons, Super Plus Absorbency, Unscented, 32 Count, 1 Pack

For anyone struggling to open these... you need to twist the wrapper between both hands in opposite directions. The wrapper will just come off and you don't have to pick around it to find an end to peel open. That made things so much easier once I realized that.These are pretty comparable to o.b. tampons. They are the same absorbency as o.b. super plus tampons as well. Both are 12-15g. I really didn't notice any difference in functionality and they're more affordable. They work, overall, just as well. Definitely worth the $4-5 price point.

It is not like the OB brand but for the price it works. You have to twist the wrapper to open. No biggie just different. The cotton is not as pressed together and feels a little softer. Since my store seem to be out all the time I have to find substitutes and these will work for now.

Work great and great price. I've been using o.b. brand tampons for nearly a decade but they have become so expensive so I wanted to give these a try. I do think o.b. brand (which these tampons claim are compared to) hold a little more fluid and prevent leaks slightly better, but for the price difference I will continue buying these for regular use, and maybe o.b. for the days I know I'll be busy in public and won't be able to slip away to a bathroom as quick or easy. I definitely recommend!

Bought these as an o.b. substitute since I can’t find ob’s anymore. They work ok. More comparable to ob super absorbency in size as others have mentioned. In general they also don’t seem to absorb very quickly so if your flow is fast it won’t catch everything. I always use a pad in conjunction with tampons just in case and I noticed more leaking with these.My biggest issue with them however is that the wrapper is next to impossible to unwrap as an ob tampon is unwrapped. The method that works better for me is to gently bend them so they pop open like a pastry can. Another reviewer mentioned they were twist off wrappers which makes sense so I’ll try that next. Just don’t go hunting for the little tab to unwind it; if there is one you’ll just pull it right off and end up super frustrated, the last thing one wants to be while dealing with a period.

Was looking for OB and for some reason they are gone everywhere, even Amazon(and the time). And the OB are the only ones that can keep up with my flow if you know what I mean! So I tried these and they are SO close to OB! I am impressed and will buy again.

Not sure why people say it’s hard to open, just twist the packaging and it opens right up. Great value for the money. I’m bummed that it’s not available for purchase for the moment. I’ve used OB for over 30 years, this is the first time I’ve hacked a less expensive option that doesn’t have an applicator. I hope they start selling again soon.

I’ve been using o.b for 30 years now but they have become so expensive; I thought I’d try these. They don’t have as much cotton in them so they are noticeably smaller. They are not very absorbent at all; I was changing them every hour and still having leaks. The string was more absorbent than the tampon which would cause leaks as well. The worst tampons a have ever used.

Hi Amazon. I hope you’re listening because I have a request. Can you please make a bigger size like OB Ultra? It’s hit or miss when they’re available at the store and some sellers on your site want over $100 for a 4 pack. Are you kidding me?These are comparable to OB regular. I need something that can handle heavy flow, please. These are good for like days 3-5 of cycle, after heavy flow is done.
