I have a 2021 Rouge that unfortunately doesn’t have wireless CarPlay, so I decided to try this out to see if it would work. And it works perfectly. It does exactly what you want it to do with no flaws, it’s easy to set up, pretty small, and just as smooth as wired CarPlay. When I use wired CarPlay in the driver seat the wire tends to get caught under the lever so this helps me avoid that. Overall great product!

I have an 2018 Audi Q5 with factory wired Apple CarPlay. Initially my steering wheel controls or using Siri would not do anything. I could see the Siri icon spinning on the car screen but nothing would happen. The only way I could hear a text message was to enable CarPlay's "announce" feature where it automatically reads your text message when it arrives... no thanks!I emailed customer service at autocarplay.outlook.com and they told me to do the firmware update. The instructions are in the manual that come with product. It took about 5 minutes to update, then you unplug the device and then plug it in again, and that did the trick. I can now do everything wirelessly! Customer support was so helpful and quick to respond!My wireless CarPlay connects almost instantly in my Audi. I have the 2022 version of this product. Buy it, you'll be glad you did!

I was hoping this would work for my Ford Maverick. Unfortunately, I couldn't connect to it or have it connect to my Maverick. I've since learned of another product that works, but this one didn't for me. I will be returning it.

Usually this thing works well. It connects quickly (most of the time) one of the big issues I have with it is the almost full second lag time. Forget about watching YouTube videos or FaceTiming with this. The second delay is mind numbing and frustrating. I will say the screen works well on the factory head unit and looks pretty clear. If you don’t mind the lag time, hell, get two of em!

I don’t too often write reviews because… Well who has time! Well— anyway I put it into the glove compartment armrest thing in my jeep and it was hit or miss whether or not it would stay on work or without freezing up I put it in the front port of my jeep which means I lose access to be able to charge my cell phone and it works perfectly so yes it works but there must be some either glitches with my jeep or glitches with the program.

Connection took a minute to set up. Also it doesn’t instantly connect until I get down the road but I do love not having to plug my phone in to a charger all the time. Wireless CarPlay is the way of the future. Car makers need to step it up and make all wireless CarPlay. But for now these are great.

I've only been using this for a day so far, but I have been very impressed with the quick load time and decent sound quality. A nice feature is the USB passthrough. On long trips, I'd like to keep my phone plugged in directly both for charging and best-possible sound quality. The pass-through allows that without having to unplug the adapter. I'm using in a 2019 Ford Explorer.

Works. Easy to use. Combined with a charge pad, I no longer need my phone jack to connect my iPhone XR to my RAV4 for CarPlay. If charging is not needed, phone can even stay in my pocket and CarPlay still works fine.

On the plus side, easy to install

Liked the fact that it worked as advertised and that it arrived very quickly. I hooked it up easily to my car and now I enjoy the Apple Carplay system without connecting the charging cable each time I get in the car.

Sure this works as intended but there is a massive delay when making any input is made. You might think it’s forgivable until you make a call - the same lag is there meaning your voice is always 2-3 seconds delayed. I ended up switching back to using wired carplay as it was that bad.
