Wheel Master Rear 26 x 1.75/2.125, Silver, Alloy, B/O, 5/6/7 sp, 36H, SS14g Spokes

I ride a classic 1990s 18 speed mountain bike that I rebuilt last year. My kid somehow managed to crash into my rear wheel with his bike and bent it beyond repair. This wheel was a perfect solution. The materials and thickness are comparable to the OEM one it replaced. My spoke guard and freewheel installed easily, and the assembly bolted onto my frame with no adjustment required. Bearings were adjusted perfectly right out of the box. Bike now rides smoothly and quietly. This is an excellent quality product that I would definitely purchase again.

Was somewhat difficult to find a new rear wheel for my 26 inch Schwinn bicycle, but am very glad Amazon had this one. Was perfectly adjusted, did not have any issues like other people said they had with the bearing tension. Has the threads on it to accept a standard freewheel cassette sprocket. It did take a long time to receive though, over two full weeks pased from when I placed the order to when I received it.

This review is in two parts. First the seller. I have only good things to say about the seller. Second the product. I’ve purchased two wheels from this manufacture. Packaging was good with plenty of protection provided. The first wheel arrived and was in excellent condition. The second wheel arrived and out of the box the bearings were adjusted way too tight. You could feel the bearings rolling when you turned the wheel and when you turn the wheel by hand It would stop within an 8th to a quarter revolution once let go. The second wheel needed readjustment. As for the rim, it seems very true and sturdy on both wheels. Once adjusted and installed the bike rides well on the new wheels. I do, however, have concerns over how tightly the bearings were adjusted on the second wheel. They were tightened almost to a ridiculous level By the manufacturer. That makes me wonder what type of quality control they have in place, if any. All that said, once properly adjusted and installed the bike does ride well on these wheels and they appear to be sturdy. I deducted a star on the value scale. The price itself is a good value but given the fact that you have to put forth effort in rebuilding the axles and bearings that brings the value equation down.

The price of wheels are outrageous but I needed a sturdier wheel cause the other was bent all to heck. Picked up a steel wheel and I really hope it takes those bumps well. It's for an ebike with most of the weight riding on this rear wheel It makes a slight clicking sound like the playing card in the spokes sound but not unpleasant. I hope this wheel will last.

I bought this wheel to replace a defective one on my 7-speed cruiser that kept breaking spokes. The wheel was pretty true when I received it, and I only had to make minimal adjustments to make it close to perfect. The hub on this wheel is higher quality than on the wheel it replaced. I also noticed there is almost no wobble in the freewheel when the wheel is spinning, resulting in much better shifting. Highly recommended!!!

As other reviews show, the axle bearings are not installed properly. The axle is a POS. Axle will need replaced if you buy this.

I bought this rim because it was a very good price . That being said i spent a good hour fixing the axel . The bushings they put on it doesn't fit any bike I have in my shop .Like I said before I own a bike shop and I have lots of parts I took off bikes we scraped and I had bushings .Also I took the axel apart to find very little grease so I fixed that issue the preload was ridiculous so when I got done with the grease I set the preload correctly put the right bushings on. Now after all that I was able to put the tire on be ready no nipple protector back to the parts area . When I got done I put it on my mtb it was excellent rim true holds tire and my v brakes worked great on it just be ready you can't use it right out of the box I hope you know how to work on bikes Bubba from Bubba's bike shop Cape cod .
